works as expected, even at high altitudes
Had planned trek at very last minute so wanted on time delivery. The product was delivered on time. It worked as charm on the trail. Very happy with the stove.

Not at all satisfied.
Primis is a worldwide name. So I decided to go for this even it was expensive. Surprisingly on my first camping trip after buying this, it fails. The valve was not working hence of no use. Already the return window was closed, so I was in a mess. Contacted Amazon for warranty replacement, but Amazon initially refuses to serve. They said to contact trek kit for the service directly as they were the seller. Got in touch with Trek kit, they also refused to serve by saying that return has to happen through Amazon, as invoice raised through them. They could have served if I could have purchased from their site directly. In this situation, I was completely in a mess, not able to decide what to do with the defective piece of product, which is just 20 days old. Again contacted Amazon and described the situation . Finally after a lot of pursuation, they agreed to return the product and refund. My question here is, if we buy mobile phone, or television, the manufacturer takes care of the warranty service directly. Why for these type of product Amazon is not securing the customer's benefit? If both the seller and the e commerce platform, denies to serve, where will the customer go? Nowhere they have mentioned the contact details of the company. Requesting every buyer for these type of product, to go through warrany and after sales service before buying this. Amazon returned this because it was just 20 days old; I am sure that they will refuse if this goes wrong after six months. So please be careful.

Primus expected quality
This stove beckons back to the long-time quality of outdoor products from Sweden, and to date I have not seen this stove copied in China, as is the case with the Primus classic Trail. It does not come with the case, but the box is better than some of the cases on my other stoves. Testing it to boil my tea water it reached a boil very quickly. Three-point support for the pot is very steady, and we should remember that three non-colinear points determine a plane, making this more stable that a four-point support. The valve is the only moving part on this stove which will contribute to it's reliability. Also, at a better price than most of the better stove making this stove hard to beat.

Fantastic budget stove
It's inexpensive. It's wide and low to the cannister, so it's very stable, very good for larger pot/pans. Very quiet and surprisingly wind resistant. The only major downside: it has an awkward shape, difficult to pack inside your pot or inside your bag. It does not come with a carry case. This is actually my daily driver stove for making coffee/ cooking outdoors. For comparison, I also use the soto windmaster and the ultralight BRS. BRS is completely shite in the wind, definitely needs some kind of windshield. Also a bit flimsy so wouldn't trust it with anything bigger than a 750ml pot. It is very light tho so perfect for solo ultralight use. The soto works great and packs small, but just a little fiddly for everyday use. Still my preferred stove for group hikes.
