Solid, simple, displays your nummies with pride.
I'm rolling my eyes at the person who gave this a low rating because she didn't like the price (she didn't actually appear to buy it here, or anywhere else). If you're like me, you were probably hunting all through the catacombs of Amazon, bouncing from "people who looked at this also looked at this other stuff" and "people who bought this also bought that other thing" to finally, magically, land on this.High quality glass jars of a specific size and shape are actually hard to find, and the higher quality it is, the more expensive. While the price IS hefty -- you can find stuff for cheaper that won't have this shape, they won't have an airtight seal, and they won't be as thick. So they won't hold anything in there that isn't purely decorative, meaning your food items go stale.I began with words like "clear cookie jar," and "glass cannister with seal." I kept getting canning jars or pantry storage (acrylic, metal) relying on hermetic seals and such. I also dabbled in "apothecary jars," which I hadn't even thought of connecting, as I toodled around hunting for "candy jar." Then I started learning about the term "candy buffet" -- mind blown. Like, you see these things all the time in the real world but no one ever TALKS about them, they don't label the table "candy buffet" at a conference, microkitchen, or wedding! The art of food presentation and its tools was once something probably every woman running a household knew at one time but now it's like, esoteric knowledge for chefs, heavy duty domestic goddesses, and professional event planners. They know secret words like "butter caddy" (!!) us domestic noobs are not privy to.In any case, I wanted something tallish, but not too tall. Shapely, but not too bulbous or wavy. I don't want to feature seashells or potpourri, to me enclosing those things in jars seems a futile endeavor. I did not like the fact that the apothecary jars were getting weird with colors and shapes -- I don't want to touch a handle to pick up the top of the thing and get a snack and feel like I'm doing something sexual, NO. Sorry. I don't want blue glass. I don't want sparkles. I didn't even want the "Kilner" label on here, but it was simple enough, see-through, etc., that I let it go.This jar is THICK. Sturdy. Heavy. The rubber seal is a bit cheaply made but functional. I worry if it will dry out in a few years. But the jar is VERY well made, and holds the bajillion stevia gummy bears I put in it proudly next to my other "buffet" (so fancy!) snacks liked smoked almonds and such.I think it's worth the price. You get what you pay for. Am I a bit cranky at the price? Sure. But after diligent research, I am pretty sure there are probably only one or two other similar quality jars lost in the bowels of Amazon search I will never ever find, that are probably similarly priced, and going to cost more to ship or take twice as long to get to me. Or they cost more. Who knows, but I'm not looking for them, I've got all I need right here.

Great quality glassware
I stumbled across this brand while doing an Amazon search on storage jars, and I'm so glad I did! Not only is this glass jar beautiful to look at; but it also has a great, tight seal - perfect for storing my homemade granola and keeping it crunchy. (And safe from pests) It is a nice, heavy glass. I liked it so well; that I ordered a second one. I wasn't sure if the 135 ounce would be too large; but it's actually a very practical size.

Arrived all in one piece.
We really like our Kilner jars. I had to order this a second time, as the first one arrived broken from a different website. This came from UK and was packaged perfectly. No breaks. Works great for my sourdough flour jar, you can fit a whole 1 cup measuring cup down in it.

Sturdy glass w/ air-tight seal
This cookie jar has a very rubbery silicone seal. (Not a cheap plastic seal that will crack over time) I was glad for this! Arrived quick and beautiful. Perfect. AAA+++

Love it but it wasn’t shipped with enough care
Very happy with the jar as it is exactly what I was looking for. Not so pleased about how it was shipped to me. The lid needed to be bubble wrapped separately so it would not rub glass on glass around the edge. A few slivers broke off so now I have a lid that has rough sharp edges in a place or two.

Exactly the size I needed.
I absolutely loved this product. I put it use immediately. It now holds my tea bags and sits next to a smaller version of the jar that holds my tea strainers, tea balls and tea squeezers.

Looks like a crack, but isn’t.
Great product. Only issue is the bottom looked like it was cracked, but apparently it’s the way they are molded.

My mom LOVES it!
Got this for my mom because she wanted a glass container to store flour in and she absolutely loves it! It's a great size and looks good on the counter!
