I got this for under $50 to weigh very small (3-5mg) amounts of supplements and other powders. I have paid over $100 for scales that would not even register below 15-16mg and even if so they would automatically tare and you would have a noticeable amount on the tray not registered. This scale weighs as low as about 5mg with out much drifting and relatively accurate. I think it's well worth the money compared to others at similar prices. However the only problem I had was with the listing as it had stated it would come with a dust cover to go around the scale tray when not being used and it didn't. Not a huge deal. With that being the only issue I'd say I could not be happier with the scale and it's performance for it's price.

This scale is very easy to use as I make up plant fertilizer solutions. It does include a 100 gram calibration weight. Good value for the price paid.

Accuracy is okay. Repeated measurement of the same object gets variation of ~5mg. But $20 for the precision of an analytical balance, come on, that's a deal. Screen is easy to read. Buttons are a little loud, but that's getting into pedantic territory. Box is good for storage (protected, padded, re-closable top-opening lid). Main problem is off current discharge. I kept it (after barely using it) with (installed fresh) alkaline AAA installed on the shelf for ~6months and when I went to use it again, the batteries had leaked quite badly, there was a liquid electrolyte puddle, and the spring contact had completely corroded and broken into pieces. Luckily it has a microB usb port for backup power, so the scale is still usable (although not so easy to use with a power bank, it draws so little current that the power banks I have keep shutting off (probably a safety feature of the power bank) when I use them with the scale). Maybe the corroded spring is replaceable ...

I am surprised at how accurate this is, especially for the price. I have been weighing in the 0.01 to 0.4 gram range and expected the 2nd decimal to be limited in repeatability, but it is stable. Even the third decimal is somewhat useful. With most balances one expects the last digit to be sort of throwaway. The only pick I have is that it comes with a 100 g weight, which makes sense, but I would like to see an additional weight nearer the low end. However, I did buy a separate set of calibration weights; 5, 10, 20, 40, 50, 100, 200, and 500mg. These show a surprisingly good accuracy and repeatability.

With fine accuracy, if you have a fan running or blowing on the scale, it will change; that's why you have a cover for small objects. For larger/taller objects, you must have no air current that can affect the measurement. Overall very good and accurate.
