Also keep in mind it is a sealer, not an adhesive, so it won't hold broken pieces together. **Q: I have a crack in the glass on the bottom of my tank. Will this seal it?** A: If tank has a frame beneath it's tricky. The silicone will seal it providing you prep the contact area. You must clean away the old sealant & calcium buildup;this is for outside & inside the tank. It requires a one inch bead on both sides of the glass, *then two inches onto the old silicone - both sides of the crack. Mash/feather new sealant beyond each side of old seal.* **Q: Can I use this to fix leaks in a horse trough around the heating element? Will it hold it's integrity against freezing temperatures?** A: It should. Just make sure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and dried before application. Silicone can withstand sub-freezing temperatures and very high heat.
