After I lifetime (long one) of loving to be in the sun as much as possible, my lips developed a precancerous condition where they burn, crack and bleed after prolonged exposure to the sunlight. I started using Zinka Lip Protector Lip Balm SPF 30 several years ago when simple UV lip protection didn’t stop this unless I reapplied very frequently. My Dermatologist recommended a lip protector with zinc, this one works! Since I have been using Zinka on my beach trips no more cracked painful lip issues. It goes on clear, mostly, but as you reapply it does show the “white zinc ghosting” on your lips. Not a problem when I can go home and not have to take care of burnt lips for the next several weeks. I have also given Zinka Lip Protector to both my dad and brother. My dad having the same medical issue as I have, he no longer worries about it when using Zinka. My brother isn’t as big a fan because of the white color but still takes it on hunting trips when he is going to be in higher altitudes in the sun all day.Zinka Lip Protector Lip Balm SPF 30 is expensive but you do not have reapply as often as other UV lip protectors making a tube of it last longer than most. Bottom line, it works!I highly recommend.

Easy to carry and got texture but tastes really bad and bitter on mouth

I live in a very dry climate and spend a lot of time in the sun and at lakes and rivers and my lips always seem to burn and hurt. I bought several kinds of lip sunblock and by far this one is the best!I am a fan!

I am a jet ski tour guide out on the water all day in the SW FL sun and salt water of the Gulf. I've tried all the so called leading chap sticks to protect my lips, and this is thee only one that works !!!! All the others as soon as I take a hit to the face from the salt water, obviously failed as my lips were always chapped. This has been tested in the harshest conditions from burning hot to freezing cold. Very thankful I found it !!!

Every time we go to a resort for vacation I end up with horrible blisters on my lips. I’ve tried everything!! I read reviews and was skeptical but after trying, I’m sold! Just returned from the Dominican Republic with no lip issues at all.
