Litter Locker 6-Pack Genie Refill Cartridge

Although the refill cartridges are expensive, buying them in multiples such as this is much cheaper. I absolutely adore this product. Scooping kitty litter was my least favorite chore, just above washing floors. The genie makes it sooo much easier and just less painful in every way, Yes, the cartridges are expensive and yes, they run out quickly. But the ease of cleaning the litter box and the disappearance of any litter smell is worth every penny to me.

Perfect! Great price for refills. I own three cat boxes and three littler genies and it saves my sanity. I used to just carry grocery bags from box to box, but they always seemed to have holes in the bottom, and then my county banned plastic bags and charge for paper bags. If I already have to buy plastic bags I figured I would spend a little more and save myself a bunch of hassle and time. I use the genie for clumping littler as well as with pine litter (just the solids) and with four cats using three genies, we empty the "poopsie rolls" once a week. The Litter Genie refills were all the correct size, shape and brand. The bags all came out easy (I made sure to find an cut edge before unraveling) and all 6 had full rolls in them. Absolutely no problems in my order.

I've been using a Litter Genie since they came out with it. I absolutely love the product! I've had three plus cats since 2004 - I've used every means of getting rid of cat waste since then - littermaid; scoop free litter box, high side box, lid on the box, etc, etc. By 2013, a manual box with an easy to clean up cat waste station is easiest... not the prettiest way to do it but, by far, the easiest. Having cats ultimately means you'll be doing this job until you no longer have them.... so why not make it easier on yourself! I read some other reviews about "hacks" to be cheaper and make it easier - yes, they all work but this waste station and bag refill solution is honest to god the easiest to keep the smell out, durable bags means no holes or spilling cat litter everywhere. It easily travels from one litter box to the next (I have three!). So, spend a few extra bucks, and do yourself the favor of just getting this unit and the bag refills that go with it!

Having gone through one of these cartridges in two months (one cat box for two cats) I have to say it's convenient and works very well - most importantly, the plastic material used for the bag is high quality and keeps the odors well trapped (I usually finish one "load" with a knot after two weeks, and together with the Litter Locker box I can say that it easily meets my expectations). Of course their business model revolves around the cartridges rather than the box - I wish they'd sell it for just half the price (and they would still have a great margin), but given the quality and ease I probably won't bother looking for self-made workarounds.

Words cannot express how much I LOVE the Litter Genie!!!!! Yes, I could probably save money and use my own plastic bags, but why when I could buy these? It makes my life SO MUCH EASIER just using these bags because it prevents mess and spills. I also clean the litter box more frequently than before. If you were to use your own bags, you would end up making more of a mess, so I think this is money well spent and more sanitary way of cleaning the box we all dread.

We love the Litter Genie--it's so much easier to clean out 4 litter boxes! Definitely cuts the odor. So we ordered these refills. **Wanted to update my review on these refills. We have 3 cats and 4 litter boxes and 1 refill lasted 3 weeks, which is pretty good, I think. The Litter Genie really makes cleaning 4 litter boxes so much easier--no more trying to get our hands on plastic bags, checking for holes in the bags, and having to throw them outside in the garbage right away because of the odor. With the Litter Genie, we can carry it from box to box and empty each one, pull the shelf out, and no more odor! We don't have to take it out to the garbage can every time we empty the litter boxes, just when the receptacle gets full. My husband and I both wish we had one of these years ago. The only improvement that would be nice to have, is to mark the plastic when it's down to the last 2 feet; a different color or black stripes, maybe. The Litter Genie itself is wonderful and these refills work just fine.

What a terrific idea! My child was already in disposable diapers, so I never knew about a "diaper genie," but someone suggested this product. I own two cats, and anyone can come into my house, anytime, and there will never be the smell of cat again!!! (Just remember to clean the litter box - the genie won't work if you don't put the waste from the litter box into the Litter Genie!!!) The six-pack is a great price - and I don't have to worry about needing to purchase a replacement - I have them at home!!!

I love my litter genie but these bags are too expensive

As many others have mentioned the product is defective. The first one I tried had a bag that was haphazardly stuffed into the holder. I had to pull about 75% of the product out to find the end. Tried to reroll it properly, but pretty much impossible to roll it right enough to fit back into canister by hand. The second one I opened was rolled properly. I've owned this unit for over a year and have never had an issue with the refills before, but I always buy from another more expensive vendor. This vendor appears to be selling repacked, garbage, factory second refills.
