An Estwing 22oz penny hammer is @ the least of what a good craftsman can DUE with... Now I got to get a waffled face hammer, so I won't have to be so accurate "when I swing"

Versatile and stands up to abuse. I can’t tell you the things I’ve put this hammer through in commercial construction, but it has held up to everything I could throw at it (or throw it at). From framing, concrete forming and demolition to finishes, masonry and even at home, I’m always happy to have this long-handled smooth-faced 22oz straight claw hammer with me. While not the heaviest Estwing out there, it’s the perfect weight to provide agility and still deliver a powerful blow. I would also look for (in another Estwing hammer) a straighter, flatter claw to get to those hard to reach places. Overall, my colleagues and I rely on this brand daily to complete millions of dollars of work, and I recommend this particular hammer for years of quality, versatile use.

Great Hammer
The hammer is the best you can get but the shipping box was horrible! I orders 3 hammers and they were all in the same box banging around on each other so the finish was scratched very badly! They should have been wrapped separately!! I may return the two that are damaged the worst!
