Solidly built, good value, looks the part too.
Unlike some, I didn't find the instructions at all tricky - it's a very straightforward build in fact. My advice - don't do up any screws tightly until you have the whole rack assembled, then use a framing square to align it all and then snug them up fully. The powder coating is very good quality, hardware is good (M6 and M8 is a good thing in my view - if you only have old fashioned Imperial stuff then you should probably stick to steam engines and old cars...) and the accuracy of component machining was better than most network racks I've built. The forming of the main verticals leaves loads of room for cable routing, which is great. There's also enough room in the base horizontals to put power bricks for those devices which use them, keeping a nice neat progression from power conditioning and switching at the base, to fast switching and data management towards the top. There are also plenty of spare holes for custom bracketry to be bolted to, if you want to add a fixed monitor, for example. The only really minor niggles I have are:- Pop in some more cage nuts and bolts please - those are nice, but most of us are going to be racking up more than a couple of shelves and a 1U server, and I hate mixing hardware. Wheels - just go up one size please, and I'll use these racks for the next build. Those roll reasonably well, but are a bit small for the weight this rack is clearly capable of supporting. Bottom line? A very good rack for a decent price, with excellent powdercoating and well thought-out design.

Surprised at the quality
Was really surprised at the quality of the rack when I started to put it together. Instructions were clear, and I was able to assemble it mostly outside my shed before bringing it in and setting it on the wheels to assemble completely. One of the support bars at the very top of the rack that keep the two posts from separating got tweaked at the end from shipping, so I had to take it to the vice to straighten. Even after that the paint job looked brand new, whatever they did to paint this with is extremely durable. Other than that, all the parts came in sealed plastic, and were packaged securely. The rack came with 3 pairs of rack rails which I think really just reinforce the posts. They're really not wide/strong enough to hold anything heavy. Rolls around on my concrete floor great, and easy to manage the equipment if I need to move it. If I ever needed another one, I would purchase again.

Fantastic quality at an affordable price point
I’ve bought a couple cheap server racks from Amazon, MicroCenter, etc.. They suck. This rack does not suck. It’s extremely solid construction, not flimsy beams. It’s built on a beefy base with smoothly-rolling wheels, not low quality casters just drilled into the bottom of the rack. The various pieces generally have interlocking slots or the like to ensure they stick together, rather than just a bunch of L-bent beams screwed together. It came with a large quantity of high quality mounting bolts and cage nuts (all bolts preassembled with metal washer and metal split ring ready to go!) that mount easily and solidly, not low tier garbage that strips out the rack. It has side mounting as well as front and back, clear unit labels, and even these little notches in the middle of each unit so you can easily see where you are on the rack. Will definitely buy from this company again next time I need equipment.

Great Rack for the Money Even If Instructions are Horrible (see my notes for help!)
So, as most of the other reviews mention, assembly can be difficult. Very importantly (as not many people include this), I bought the 15U model. My assembly time was about an hour or so trying to figure out how to orient everything and making sure things were square, etc. I've provided some assembly notes at the bottom. The quality of the rack seems to be pretty good in terms of build. The powder coat seems to be better than stuff I've received commercially and none of the parts feel cheap or flimsy at all to me. Once assembled, you do need to either have a shelf in the top or install one of the sets of "rails" they provide to help everything keep its shape when you begin moving it. The included "rails" are marginally useless for things like a 1U server because the wings on them aren't wide enough. My 1U HP server just barely sits on them and if it is moved, it falls off them because there's too much space left over on either side. I should probably have proper rails for it but, as a home labber, I think we all know that's not often the case. Also, if you're going to work around this rack with bare feet, TAKE CAUTION. I busted my big toe on the front part where the casters stick out several times trying to walk around it in a narrow space. Maybe some pool noodles to cover. Otherwise, I'm satisfied. Assembly notes: - Tools you need: Drill, framer's square, adjustable wrench (or just use your fingers to hold the nuts while drilling because you really can't exactly fit a wrench into the small space anyway), Philips bit for drill, M6 bit for drill (WHY did they use these?) - Other things you need: Another person, some straps, or something to help you when you install the included "rails". I used a six year-old. - The diagram included is pretty awful but mine was usable enough for me to see what I'm doing. - Do take care to use the lowest speed setting for your drill and set the power/clutch to something like 1/3 the power. I have a Ryobi drill so I used speed 1 with power setting 8 and this seemed sufficient enough to lock things together without the risk of stripping most things (see note about M6 screws though :(). - The pieces that connect the front and back vertical pieces to the lower portion with casters go on the outside of the vertical pieces. This wasn't clear and apparently, of the two pieces like this included, they very specifically fit the front and back (but are unlabeled this way). I couldn't interchange them. I didn't know this though so I fought with one for a bit and finally just tried the other which fit like a glove. - Nothing about this design ensures that your frame will come out square in any way when you're building it. Check it with an actual framer's square while you assemble (as best you can; some of the parts just make this hard). - Take care not to strip-out the M6 screws that go on the bottom. I had an appropriate bit but there was not much meat on the sidewalls of the screw's M6 portion and so I stripped two of them (even with my drill clutch set low).

Great rack!
I'm really happy with this rack, after struggle with makeshift wire shelves. For the same price, I had a wire wrack with 3 shelves, while this will accommodate much more, and more sturdily, with room for cable management. Once loaded up, it doesn't move, doesn't rack at all. This is not a con, but you should be aware that this thing is heavy. Putting it together by yourself would be very hard - the uprights are long and a bit ungainly to move around to get the top and bottom installed. It could have used a bit more in the way of assembly instructions, but we did get it figured out eventually. Some of the pieces are hard to tell apart based on the pictures, and while you can assemble it in pretty much any order, there's probably an optimized approach that would have saved me some trouble. Bottom line, get help.

Much better than its price suggests
I bought this for my homelab to replace the A/V cart that's been threatening to crumble under all the weight. I was expecting passable quality, but it really exceeded my expectations. The frame is super sturdy and assembles very easily. Good fit and finish. The casters roll it around real smoothly as well. I fully recommend this rack for anyone looking for something in this size. Also I didn't realize that it would come with a pile of cage nuts and screws, so I had ordered a bunch separately, but I didn't need them. The rack comes with dozens of them.

great value audio rack
Great rack all around.. especially for this amount of $. It seems pretty sturdy and well built. Plus, they include a bunch of mounting screws :)

Good open post fram rack BUT....
Well built frame, easy to assemble BUT the M8 bolts are junk, I ended up messing up 2 because the metal is very soft. It was easy fix (remove with grabit) and then buy 2 hexhead M8/25 from RenoDepot for 82c each. It would have had 5/5 but the M8 bolts should be hexhead and stronge.

Étonnamment solide et facile à monter
Je possède déjà plusieurs racks et étant moins cher que les autres, j'ai acheté celui-ci pour un site secondaire. J'ai été très surpris par la solidité et la facilité de montage de ce rack. Je le recommande.

An OK rack with gotchas..
The only I bought was 15U 4 Post Open Frame 19'' Server/Audio Steel Rack Deep from 16"-32" (15U 31 deep) It looks NOTHING like the pictures. It's also not really adjustable beyond a couple inches from max. It will fit ~31" but minimum is more like 29.5". 16" minimum is a joke. Came with cage nuts but also 4 regular nuts which don't go anywhere No top rails, so you have to use the L brackets. This is OK if you have a couple long pieces of equipment that don't have their own rails, or are needlessly expensive to get them (looking at YOU Dell). Easy to assemble, even if there is only 1 step in the directions. Just assemble the uprights before you put the two bottom rails on, and definitely before the casters. Should take less than 30 minutes overall. Sturdy enough. Bought it on a sale, definitely would not have purchased if > $175, which this one barely skirted the line.

Its a good sturdy rack!
The problem was that I didn’t check the components before I arrived on site! I didn't have time to send back or report that one of the 4 corner posts was longer than the rest! A hacksaw fixed the issue, but it was still a challenge to get holes to line up! I would still purchase again.

Great server room unit. Not recommended for home office with loud servers.
Great unit to work with. Pick your depth and assemble it. The base has different bolting locations so you can adjust the depth but once assembled to change depth you'll have to take it all apart. Says it includes 3 shelves, not entirely true. It includes 3 shelf mounting bars to support it but they are not real shelves.
