Product Review
The product is well built and functions perfectly. I tried with very old tapes and played properly . The only drawback is that it’s not Sylvania but it’s Proscan which should be mentioned clearly in the advertisement to avoid confusion and misunderstanding.

Horrible recording
I tried to create a mixtape and the sound quality was horrible and the songs were unrecognisable. I thought that it could potentially be user error so i created a second mixtape which came out with the same horrible audio. It played other tapes fine, and i did buy a second-hand version, but very disappointing.

Make sure when you are using fast forward or fast rewind you push the stop control before you push they play control or the tape could be damaged. Product works well. Excellent price.

Amazon recommend this item but their specification was rather basic as you can see. Nevertheless I decided to purchase it. Only 2 irks that were not described, It’s mono and you need to purchase a UK To EU/USA power adapter.these adapters aren’t expensive. As to the machine and it’s performance, very good signal to noise ratio ,sounds good via microphone recording ,I haven’t tried aux in yet as I have to make the lead for it. Good sold build and looks nice also . Although it’s a mono player recorder I’m very happy with it at the moment 🤞🏼
