Aquabliss SF500 Daily Essential+ Shower Filter - Brushed Nickel

I cannot say enough good things about this filter! I waited to write a review after having it set up for about a month, and what a difference I’ve noticed with my hair. It is so much softer and my scalp feels so much cleaner. I live in New York, and on the filter website it said that there are higher concentrations of sediment in our water - and you can see by the photo I shared that they are definitely filtering ! The setup was so easy, and worked with my original shower head. I noticed that other purchasers said that they noticed worse water pressure, which I think depends on the building/house you live in. Understandably, when you are putting water through a filtration system it inevitably will slow it down, but I personally didn’t have that issue. Per the manufacturer recommendations you can change the sediment filters (shown in my photo) if you notice a decrease in water pressure. The photo I shared is about a month post install. My only complaint would be that the sediment filters are a bit on the pricey side to replace, but for the improvement of the water quality is something I will gladly do. You will not regret purchasing this filter!

We have ground water and it stains my hair and shower a reddish orange color. I've tried everything from hard water shampoos to deep treatments. NOTHING WORKED! I even tried expensive shower filters. Some worked for about a day and then became clogged. This one is easy to install and doesn't affect water pressure at all. I don't have itchy skin or dry brittle hair anymore!!! The replacements aren't expensive either. We have high iron and manganese water. This is perfect for our water. I highly recommend it especially for those with eczema, dry skin and hair.

flipped between 3 and 4 settled on 4. They provide everything to install, clear instructions, tape even. only thing is any tool to remove the existing or tighten the filter. Also provide spare filters I believe. The first one I got, twisted it apart to see the filter housing, put it back together, and could never get it to seal in the middle, but not a bad leak. Family loved it, said it was doing an excellent job. They felt a difference in the water (why it got 4 stars). Ordered a water testing kit, there was no difference between the tap water and water from the filter, but I did not order the test with maximum test, Ordered two more, all I did is install them, weird that they leak from the seam also. Overall everyone likes them, getting to the point to replace the filter, will see how it does post that.

Oh my gosh, its a game changer. I have struggled with fine frizzy hair for as long as I can remember. I have spent a lot of money on leave in conditioners, hair smotherers and oils and they never quite do the job. I have actually grown to just hate my hair and thought this was my lot in life. But I went to a salon recently the beautician had issues with the dye when she applied it to my hair. She asked if I had hard water and I said yes. Our water is so hard that we have gone through many faucets and coffee makers over the years due to calcium build up. But I never realized that it would affect my hair. The beautician suggested that I look into a water softening shower head and said that may help. She was 100% correct. I am so happy that I can finally love my hair. Of note, I have to say it was incredibly easy to install, seems well made and totally worth the money. I cannot afford a home water softening system, but this does the job right where I need it to. If anyone out there is like me, who has struggled with frizzy, un-style able hair the majority of their life, this is totally worth it. You will not regret it .

This product is cheap plastic. I've had 2 and the leak and/or Crack at the neck insertion point. The first one didn't start to leak until almost a year old at the neck with an annoying pin hole spray. I thought maybe I over tighted it when changing the filter. No, same thing with this one. I've only had it for a month and a half and right where you screw it on, not from under the threads but on the housing base of the threaded area seems to be a weakness. I'm switching to all brass. Many other people have done the same. Prices for all brass are higher but if you don't have to replace it again it's worth it.

This review is long overdue. I purchased this early last year because of our hard water. My hair was dry no matter how much I conditioned, deep conditioned or added leave in conditioners. I stopped using any heat on my hair and blew dry on cold. Not cool but cold. At the same time, I started using Loreal Metal Detox shampoo and my hair was 100% softer using both. Recently my hair started to get dry and tangly again, and my skin was getting itchy even though I still used the Loreal metal detox products. I thought it was the change in seasons. Then it occurred to me that my filter was never changed. The filter was black, and the sediment pads were black and fuzzy like felt. I replaced both and my hair was 100% better then next shower. I will set a diary to change the pads and filters regularly. I never knew how well this worked until I let the filter run out. I will be putting this filter in the other bathrooms pronto.

I’ve used AquaBliss shower filters before and had a great experience, but this one has been a huge disappointment. I even had a professional plumber install it to ensure everything was set up correctly, yet the filter keeps bursting open at the middle seam, spraying water everywhere. Despite checking and tightening it multiple times, the issue persists. Today, I made sure everything was secure before turning on the water, but it still came apart. On top of that, water is now leaking from the bolt that connects the filter to my shower faucet. I have another AquaBliss filter installed at my parents’ house that has worked perfectly for nearly five years, so I know this isn’t normal. Unfortunately, this unit seems defective. I was hoping for the same quality, but instead, I’ve had nothing but frustration. I wouldn’t recommend this one unless the design flaw is fixed. Update: AquaBliss is sending a replacement. I love when companies stand behind their products.

Seems to work but really unable to tell. Easy to install.

Product function is good however the design is made for the US . For UAE it has to be installed under the water mixer and get connected to the shower hose, that is why it does not fit in the space between the mixer and the tub. Other brands they provide a 45 degrees connector for it to fit. They should consider the design for non US markets

It was very easy to assemble and right after the first use, by the first hair wash I felt that my hear is much lighter and softer then before this filter. Now using for two weeks and seems my skin is also getting better, less dry and no spots or acnes on my face. This filter definitely works.

Felt the difference immediately, i have a filter Shower head also Not from Aquabliss, but from a local brand, its not great but does the job. BUT the Aquabliss is incredible, now i can relax and take a shower, My hair has a new shine and is growing in thick. Been using for 2 months.

The BEST filter on Amazon HOWEVER I ONLY BUY THE REPLACEMENT WITH VITAMIN C because it makes the biggest difference. I’ve used so many different brands and this filter specifically is the best. The 3 pavck filters are pricey but totally wirth and they last longer than other brands. I notice when it runs out.

This shower water filter is very good and effective. This is the third one we've bought already. We've had hair loss problems since we've moved into this new apartment and the water from the pipes are causing hair loss after a few months since we've moved in, the water pipes are copper and very old and that's the cause of the hair loss from the water that came out of the copper pipes. We've noticed the hair loss amount has reduced and we felt really good as the water becomes cleaner than before. Highly recommend it !
