This thing is a life saver in a pinch! But don’t be fooled, it is by no means a substitute for good IV insertion/phlebotomy skills. Only downside is the price. Still worth every penny.

I have started thousands of IVs and performed countless lab draws as a nurse before purchasing. This product helps me improve my odds of getting access the first time and with much less fishing. As a seasoned ER and ICU nurse, I strongly recommend this product to up your practice and improve patient satisfaction. I keep it on me at work at all times and use to provide me and my patients an extra layer of confidence in my practice.

This is a good vein finder. It is handheld. If you want one that’s hands free this one is not for you. It feels very fragile but works well. Company should include how you order the plastic disposal covers that you can place over the light with the initial shipment. The initial shipment of the light does come with some plastic covers but it’s a mystery how to reorder more.

Great vein light! Illuminates veins great but Disappointed with the quality of the pediatric adapter. As soon I received device and tried to attach adapter it broke. Do you sell replacement parts??

I work as a paramedic where lighting is an issue. When in need of IV access for imminent treatment, this device is a true life saver. Have used this unit on multiple patients who received the necessary IV medications due to its efficiency! Great price as well, this is $300 less then the same model advertised. I bought the Veinlite almost a year ago, and I can assure you is not "only a red led flashlight" it is a vein finder. This little device has helped me with our chronic infusion patients. It helps with difficult veins that are not visible or just deep veins you can't just see. The only thing is you need to learn how to use it and how to put it on the skin to be able to see the vein. The picture I added is one of my patients that has deep veins. And I have been success with my most difficult patients. I do home infusions. Don't hesitate to invest in this little guy!
