When I bought these cargo pants, I wasn't asking for much. I just needed functional work pants for my security job that wouldn't bankrupt me. Years later, these pants are still holding up great. Pros: - They fit just as expected (I wear 30x32) - The extra phone pocket on the right side is awesome. It's perfectly at arm's length, making it very natural to reach for your phone. This makes grabbing your phone while sitting much less awkward as well - no more looking like you have ants in your pants as you squeeze your hand into you pocket, reach for your phone, and try to weasel it out - Durable - as mentioned above, I've had these for a couple of years now, and I would often wear two pairs for 12 hour days for weeks. That's a lot of wearing and washing these have gone through, a lot of sun and a lot of rain, yet they continue to look good. They have a traveler's crease down the front, which gives them a very professional, almost dressy look which is perfect if you're doing security or any other industry in which you want to look somewhat nice while you work - Pocket placement is good. I've worn some cargo pants where the pockets seem to be right over the knees, which means that if you kneel at all, you either crush or are crushed by whatever you put in your cargo pocket. Not these. The placement is just above the knees, on the side, so I never have to worry about the contents if I have to get down for any reason. - Belt loop placement, for those of you who wear gear on your belt, is really natural and nice. A multitool worn on the belt will feel perfectly placed on the hip rather than too far forward (which looks goofy) or too far behind (which makes sitting uncomfortable). Cons: Honestly, I can't really think of any. These pants are kind of my favorite, and I've purchased them in both blue and black. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good pair of pants for security work or similar professions.

Very good quality and comfortable. Sturdy enough for getting down and dirty or nice enough for casual dress. Unfortunately, the price has gone through the roof over the last five years.

When I pulled them out of the shipping bag I thought: Gees... these pants are stiff & very, very scratchy!! Never the less, I tried them on and my immediate reaction was: I can't wear these pants, they're too stiff & scratchy ..."how could anybody like these pants." The fit seemed ok but I was certain I couldn't tolerate them, especially on a hot day. Disappointed. I liked the cut well enough, and I liked the Camo look. I also liked the phone pocket. The waist & length were fine, but ... I decided I'd return them the next day and search for a replacement. It was late and I didn't feel like setting up the amazon return. Next morning I got the pants, labels, stickers together, but looking at the pants one more time I figured I'd dive into the amazon Reviews more carefully because I did like them... so I went searching more carefully, even posting a question about the stiff-n-scratchy issues. That brought up several Reviews I'd missed. "OK" I thought, I'm gonna wash them! and I did... Good decision. When I pulled them out of the Washer they felt better. Then I put them in the Dryer and when they came out they felt completely different... so much better! I wore them the next day, a warm one here, and I must admit, they are great to wear. The fit & the comfort & the look is all good! They're light weight, soft not scratchy, very comfortable, didn't shrink in the dryer, plus the Camo look is subdued and stylish. Glad I kept them and Happy to recommend them.

These turned out to be better than I expected. At 6'3" tall and 195 lbs, I usually wear a 35 or 36 waist and 34 length. These, at 36x34, fit well, just a little big in the waist as expected. Otherwise perfect for uniform pants, which is why I bought them. Good dark navy color, deep pockets, 7 nice heavy-duty belt loops so your belt stays put, and what appears to be quality construction throughout. Material is a nice weight, not too heavy but not flimsy, and has just a bit of stretch to it. Comfortable to wear all day. Not sure how they will hold up over time as I've only worn them once, but no reason to doubt the durability thus far. They washed well, didn't seem to shrink or fade, and didn't wrinkle. A minor quibble is the zipper, which is unusually short at about 5". Not sure why a more standard 6 to 7" zipper isn't used as it would be more convenient for tucking in shirts (and the other standard men's zipper uses...) but I can live with it in exchange for the otherwise good features.

I ordered 3 pairs, navy, black and gravel. Whoever came up with the gravel color deserves a special pat on the head. It is a "sort of" gray that goes with just about anything. I suspect the navy was a "regift". It was in different smaller packaging than the other two, was missing one label and had identical creases even though folded differently. I have a steam dryer and the deep fold creases in all the pants came out easily and the suckers looked crisp and clean. The white inside liner on the blue navy waistband comes all the way to the top and looks awful but then the white liner on all of the pants shows if you belt them because the waistband rolls like a pair of cheap tighties and these are work pants! I can see how the waistband button can break since the button is plastic and the hole is made really tight. They could have made it 1/4" bigger, put a little hole on one end like LAPG does or used a thinner metal button. It gets easier after a couple of washings though. If you break it, you can find metal button replacements at Amazon. They could fix the waistband issue by reinforcing it, or coloring the inside waistband material to match or lapping the outside material 1/2" over the inside band. If you wear your shirt tail out, the waistband is not a problem. Seems to me, after all the trouble Dickies went through to make these things look neat (on a bad day, my LAPG pants look like they've been slept in), they should at least put a decent waistband on them. So bad waistband and no quality control but I got to say, they look neatly pressed and that gravel is a great color. I'm trawling for it in a decent pair of pants now.

The pant look far better than the photo of them. Very good quality pants and material. The style is amazing and practical. I where a 38 waist line. Make sure you order the right size. Because the size is The exact measurements.

Llevo un año usándolos L-V en industria siderúrgica. Están algo despintados por las lavadas y un poco desgastados entre la pierna. Pero para mí está bien. Deje de usar mezclilla por lo poco flexible que es. Sin duda alguna seguiré comprándolos. Súper cómodos y frescos además que se ven increíbles
