Digital Bluetooth Wireless Microphone ECMW2BT (Black), Small

I am not a professional photographer but make hours of videos and still photos on international trips all over the world. I find that narrating a video as you are recording the scene is the very best way to add life to your video; however the microphone that is built into the camera I find inadequate. I then make DVDs/Video files to play on my computer or TV of our trip after some editing and even adding music. I have been a strong Sony fan for years and currently use the Sony FDR-AX53 Camcorder for both videos and still photos. I lost my old jury rigged microphone through an accident and finally bought the Sony ECMWSBT wireless microphone that come in two pieces. There is a small learning curve and virtually no user guide comes with the product. At first I was not satisfied and almost sent it back. Did more Internet research for instructions how to use the microphone. Based on the short tests I have performed, I could not be happier with the performance of this little two piece unit. I finally learned to put the microphone in the Analog position and bingo a world of narration as well as getting a mixed sound (if desired) from my subject and my voice loud and clear with no background noise. It comes with a little wind sock that fits on the mike to prevent wind distortion. The wind sock could be a little more substantial. Overall -- A Great Unit even though relatively expensive. Strongly recommended.

I've been using this microphone with a Sony camera and it's great! It pairs quickly and it has a lot of options. The sound is solid and it allows me to attach other condenser microphones for more discrete use. I love how small the transmitter is if it's in my pocket and the batteries last a decent while.

I cannot get this microphone to work with the Sony ZV-1 as advertised. Returning the product. It said "not compatible"

Used it to record audio while at an amusement park. Lots of background noise, kids yelling, parade noise and winds. Audio did not pick up any of it other than my voice (held mic in hand below my chest level). Quality product.

It is a really good product. Discreet, functional, efficient, with great sound quality and working at -10db it is just ideal, at 0 it has a lot of gain. Works perfectly on a Sony A7iii ::: Recommended!

This Sony wireless mic ECM-W2BT will not work on a Sony FDR-AX700 pro camcorder. While the male hot shoe slides into the hot shoe receiver, I get a message saying "this accessory is not supported by this device and can not be used." I thought maybe the hot shoe was damage so I ordered a second unit and it too said the same thing.

Works well with my Sony A6400camera . No lag in transmission. Various settings

You would think Sony has some standards and makes quality products, but not this time. This microphone has a very unpleasant hiss that makes it sound totally unprofessional. Very disappointing!
