Is this version just regular clue without the murder?

No it has a different board and method of play. It’s a bit more collaborative in that any player can move any piece to try to find clues, but each still secretly records the finds he makes. I think it’s very well done. There is no murder though, just who ate the last piece of cake, where, when and with what beverage! My 6 year old absolutely loves it though his 4 year old brother has a bit harder time keeping up though he still does 80% and if I play on a “team” with the 4 year old it’s perfect.
