The build quality is high, it's functional, no bigger than it needs to be, and slips discreetly into my back pack. This fits my R7 with the rf100-400 attached with about an inch to spare. It also holds the 18-150 kit lens, rf 50mm 1.8, a couple spare batteries, a rocket blower, some lens wipes and a microfiber cloth with absolutely no problems. If I play tetris I can fit the battery charger and maybe some extra stuff in as well. 12/10 recommend this bag! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits Canon 7D + 16-35 III F2.8L no problem *by A***N on July 7, 2024* Didn't realize I was looking for a specific category called "backpack insert" and after a few days stumbled ontop Tenba. The Backpack insert series is simply the answer for me, not trying to bring the dedicated camera backpack but more of a multifunctional pack along with a way to discretly carry my 7D w 16-35 III F2.8L in my bookbag, this really fit the requirement and exceeded it with being able to create small compartments with the left over inside the bag with the velcro dividers.Versus the Tenba BYOB 9 Camera Insert, the Backpack Insert has greater height and lenght which I washesitant on as I didn't want the insert to take up too much bookbag space, but in my 20L Osprey bookbag it fits fine with space to spare for water bottle, jacket/change of clothes and snacks. I thought the rectangular shape of the Camera Insert bag would be better but the BYOB10 was too large dimensionally, BYOB9 was great in its size but didn't fit the 7D with Lens at alll (not even close), BYOB 9 Backpack insert was a good compromise between the size 9 and 10 Camera Insert bags, fit the camera+lens exactly pointing down, allowing for quick pull out access, then allows one side of the BYOB9 Backpack insert to be compartmentalized for other supplies, which the other camera insert bags did not allow me to do.Construction is very very good compared to a few other brands tried, stiffer padding, bag is able to hold its own shape, zippers very sturdy feeling, material inside and outside very sturdy. I definitely recommend this for travel where you can't bring a full camera backpack ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Efficient small bag great for a backpack *by A***H on August 11, 2024* This works great for my Fujifilm X-S10 with 18-55mm kit lens. I leave my lens, lens hood (facing out, not tucked in), and neoprene case on. I can easily and quickly stash it away and take it out. I usually leave the neck strap attached but in the photo I have on my wrist strap with the neck strap to the right. But even when attached, I bundle the neck strap into that compartment and don't have to remove it.Fits all the accessories I need for a trip and goes easily into a backpack or underseat rolling bag. I have my battery charger, extra batteries, lens covers, cleaning supplies, and SD card reader plus other misc. stuff. The only thing I can't easily get in is a lens blower. I use an even smaller case for shorter trips but this Tenba bag is where my camera lives and goes with me on longer trips.I tried the BYOB 7 and BYOB 9 first. The 7 was too small and only good for carrying around the camera itself, but I already keep mine in a really small purse style backpack when I travel, that's more comfortable on my neck and back. The BYOB 9 was kind of clunky to use and this one really worked better for organization because you can see everything when you open it. I was able to fit more in this one and it fits in a backpack or other bag better. Super happy with my purchase and I really like the blue color, which is more like a deep teal.Highly recommend if you don't need a larger dedicated bag for multiple lenses. Though I could easily leave out stuff I don't need daily and put in an extra lens.
