Brilliant dock. The port capacity is fantastic.

Used as home docking station, buy the recommended power type otherwise it wont work

Using it to power my laptop, use 2 monitors and as a USB hub for charging phone etc

The Dell Dock certainly over promises and under delivers. It is a Macbook pro issue for sure, however this should be stated before purchasing or in the description. Macbook pro users (with the silicone chips such as M1's) won't be able to duplicate their monitors if they have 2 screens. If you are using this for 1 external monitor, then don't hesitate to get it and go for it. 2 monitors however, then please keep clear. Using it with a work laptop which probably won't have a dedicated graphics card and if you have 2 decent (i.e 4K monitors) then it will struggle with the frame rate and your laptop will be forced to either compromise on the pixel resolution or the frame rate. Which then renders your nice monitor a little useless and you could have got more basic monitors. The good things about the Dell Dock is that it is well built, it feels solid. It has plenty of USB ports and the LAN attachment is great. The USB wire coming out also feels premium. I had to return it as it was giving too many issues for connecting multiple displays. Not fully Dells fault, however they're not fully transparent about it either.

Item works well for a home docking station

Item is faulty, malfunctioning from first use. Firmware and drivers all up to date. Conveniently covered the unique service tag, PPID and MAC numbers with an "amazon warehouse" sticker so you cannot see that the item in the box is not the item the box was for. Given that this item was purchased as refurbished, I can accept that it may not be the correct box (you state this in the description, so no need to hide the serial numbers), however at no point has this item been tested, otherwise you would have seen that it is faulty and unsellable in the described condition. As useful as a chocolate fireguard, however Customer service is still great and this item will be returned for a full refund (which should be unnecessary if the initial "refurbisher" had done their job properly...)

These appear to be 'old stock' (I ordered 2) - I don't think they have been used before, but faded packaging. More annoyingly they arrived with EU plugs - so I need to go and source some C5 power leads. Will not buy again from this seller. It would have been helpful if the non-UK plugs were specified in the description. I have bought similar from other sellers with no issues.

this is not new or nearly new - the power supply had a 2018 PAT test label on it. only has one hHDMI port so i had to buy a display port to HDMI lead to use this with two screens

2 out of the 4 received have no compliance label and the items looks used. 1 had scratch marks and stains suggesting usage.

The Dell WD19S Docking Station works exactly as promised. Setup was simple with my Dell laptop, and it instantly recognized my triple-monitor setup without issues. The 130W charging is powerful, and all ports work perfectly. It's a premium, reliable product that creates a clean, one-cable workstation. Highly recommended.

Esta docking station se integra perfectamente con ordenadores dell, permitiendo además el encendido desde el propio dock (ya no será necesario hacerlo desde el portátil). La carga es muy buena, de 130w, por lo que el ordenador tarda poco en cargarse completamente. Tiene además todas las conexiones necesarias, lo cual permite que con tan sólo un cable puedas conectar tu portátil a tu setup fácilmente. En mi caso, utilizo linux y funciona perfectamente.

Assistenza sia del venditore che di Dell eccellente, il venditore si è prodigato a trovare una soluzione al pari di Dell ad un problema di alimentazione e facendosi carico di inviare un alimentatore sostituivo in tempi immediati. Il prodotto che ho preso è un rigenerato del venditore, gode sempre della garanzia Dell, l'unica differnza è l'imballo. Il prodotto arriva ben protetto nel pluriball completo di alimentatore da 130W e cavo. Manca il manualetto che potete reperire sul sito Dell ma è veramente striminzito, in tutti i casi sul sito c'è il manuale ufficiale in italiano (ma non è incluso in cartaceo nemmeno comprandolo nuovo). E' una soluzione molto comoda perchè permette di alimentare il notebook ed avere insieme le porte tipiche di uno hub in un solo cavo. Attenzione per alimentazione: se prendete la versione alimentata con alimentatore da 130W potrete connettere notebook fino a 90W, anche notebook da 65W ovviamente, ma se dovete connettere un notebook che richiede 130W dovete passare alla versione con alimentatore da 180W anche se usate un notebook Dell. Questo è dovuto che una parte dell'energia è assorbita dallo hub per funzionare. E' dotato di una ventola interna che quindi mantiene a temperatura tutti i chip interni. Dispone sul retro di: 1 porta HDMI 2.0b, 2 port DisplayPort 1.4, 1 porta USB-C + DisplayPort integrato, 2 porte USB3.1 tipo A, 1 porta di rete Gigabit. Sul davanti di: 1 porta USBC, 1 porta USB 3.1 tipo A. Le 2 porte USB-C permettono di alimentatre e ricaricare i prodotti connessi, quindi potrete connettere lo smartphone al computer ed anche caricarlo in contemporanea e se lo smartphone lo permette ad alta velocità (il mio permette la ricarica a 33W e si è attivata quando l'ho connesso). Usando 2 dischi connessi alle porte USBA, scheda di rete e canale video non ci sono stati rallentamenti ed hanno funzionato alla massima valocità ammessa dai dispositivi.
