This Thai red/black tea tastes exactly like the blend you find at most stores and boba shops here in the US. It has a strong vanilla flavor, with other spices and tea flavors in the background. The tea is quite powdery and can't be held by mesh strainers, just super-fine cloth bags. It brews quickly and consistently.

I have been looking to make thai tea at home for so long, and this brand has popped up numerous times as being the best. The moment I opened the package, I just melted into the smell of this tea. It's so hard to describe, it's one of the most comforting things I've smelled. If I could bottle that scent up, I'd give it to everyone in my life. The color is perfection. It's added dye so if you're sensitive to that sort of thing, this is not for you. You can see the flakes of dye in the mix, but it comes out so beautifully when brewing it. It does stain, so be careful of that. But a lot of things do that are worth the extra precautions needed. Now, the taste... AMAZING! I followed a recipe I found online, I didn't even attempt the recipe on the package (if there even is one, I didn't even look for one). My suggestion would be to find a recipe and fine-tune it to fit your needs. I tried to find a "traditional" Thai tea recipe, and it was absolutely incredible. I made 4 cups of tea and stuck it in the fridge. It'll probably last me a week before I need to make more. That being said, I only used 3/4 cup of the tea mix to make 4 cups of tea. For the price I paid, that's an incredible deal! Restaurants charge like $4 or $5 for a cup, and I basically have like over a months worth for like $7 (not including the cost of the milks and sugar). This is a new staple in my household, I'll never let it run out. I'm so happy I got this and I'll be buying it over and over again!

Just a heads up, this is NOT instant tea mix/powder as advertised. It's loose leaf tea with powder in it. I triple checked before ordering, and even the actual package that arrived says "instant tea powder". Obviously it's delicious and wonderful but very much not what I was looking to order.

In the past, I purchased authentic Thai ice tea that had to be boiled for 8 hours and was of course delicious but very time consuming. This Thai ice tea is ready in minutes and actually tastes just as good surprisingly enough. The quality is great and the taste is authentic when combined with sweetened condensed milk and boba. The price is also definitely worth the purchase considering it saves so much time in preparation. Definitely on my list of products for repeat purchases for sure because it is Delicious and authentic!

This tea mix is some of the best bang for your buck I've come across. The flavor is great, and the bag is so big, I've only had to buy one so far despite using it probably four dozen times. The color of the resulting tea tends to be a little more washed out than the vibrant orange of other types of Thai tea, but that's what you get when you don't have artificial orange coloring in it.

This Thai tea mix is the real deal. Taste like I’m getting a Thai tea at a boba shop. Easy to make, just heat up water and put the tea in and strain. It comes out dark and once you add the sweeten condensed milk milk mix with heavy cream, it turns orange and has that Thai tea smell. Stop going to boba shops since I learned of this.
