Pantry Moths Are No Fun, But These Really Help
If you are unfortunate enough to know what a pantry moth is, you need these traps. I’d never heard of them in my five decades on this planet and wish I could still say that. Once you get these little pests, it takes a multi pronged approach to rid yourself of them. After you remove everything in your pantry and throw away any possible food items that could have been the initial source or has been contaminated, you must put anything remaining in airtight storage containers. Keeping your pantry empty while trying to eliminate these pesky insects is important. We bought airtight containers for any new food we brought in and placed anything like flour in the fridge for 48 hours. We kept the kitchen very clean. No crumbs in sight. Every dish washed and put away without any amount of food sitting out that could give feed the moths. We even cleaned under the stove and fridge to make sure we weren’t feeding them. Wash down the walls with vinegar and water. Use a flashlight to search every nook and cranny larvae could be or that these insects could be hiding. Be diligent in looking everywhere for full grown pests, eggs, and larvae about to hatch. We found eggs in between the pages of recipe books in a bottom shelf in the pantry. They were so filled with eggs and newly hatched pantry moths that we had to toss all of them. Eggs were also on top of our cabinets where we had placed decorative plants, vases, etc. Even after all this, 6 weeks later, we still were seeing 1-10 pantry moths each day. I wish we’d bought these pantry moth traps the first day. They target the males because they can’t resist the smell. If you can eliminate the males, you just have to eliminate the females and hope there’s not many eggs waiting to hatch. I recommend this brand. A few things to note: it helps if you don’t peel off the backing until you bend the trap into the triangle shape. Then, peel off the back and secure them at the top. If they stick together, good luck getting them apart. Once you open a couple and place them (we kept them in the pantry because they seemed to congregate there), remove your clothes, put them in the washer, and shower. If not, the smell could linger on you and you could lead males to other rooms in your house. You won’t smell anything, but trust me, you will smell like a irresistible snack to the male pantry moths who are looking for a mate. Put a couple new ones out every few days. There are other things you can buy on Amazon to eliminate the with a spray and another gel that can eliminate the larvae before they hatch. We didn’t try the last two things because we’re finally at the finish line - I hope. These moth traps are effective and seem to catch every male that gets a whiff. The design is good as long as you don’t accidentally let the sides touch before you make the triangle shape. They hold up well and aren’t flimsy.

Will Do The Trick
This is the only thing I have found that will work to get rid of pantry flies. I did couponing a few years ago and had a rood dedicated to stockpiling. I noticed somehow I had brought in these pantry flies, tried everything and someone told me about these traps... It takes forever to get rid of the pantry flies but these traps are doing the trick.

Suddenly there were so many moths!
When I first put these traps out, I turned around and immediately there were 3 moths flying around! I usually only see about 5-10 moths a day, but these caught that many within an hour! And continued catching many more than I imagined I had! The traps catch the moths by attracting them with pheromones and then trapping them in sticky glue where they eventually die. So it’s not exactly humane, but it is effective. After one fills up, put out another to catch some late-bloomers and to continue catching future-hatched moths. You’ll think you’ve solved your moth problem because you’ll go for a while without seeing any moths, but after a while more eggs will hatch and more moths will emerge from their pupas. They are super-simple to set up, and I don’t smell a thing. The only downside is that you’ll watch a moth fly around your kitchen for quite a while, getting close to the trap, and then flying away again, until you eventually give up and zap it. Trust that it’ll eventually get trapped though because the trap will get quite full of dead moths! Much more than you ever imagined you had!

Moth Traps Working, But Replace Before Eggs Hatch
Successfully used these traps in my garage and caught many moths within first few hours. Pretty sure the moths came from a bag of grass seed that was sitting nearby, which has since been removed from garage. Added a few extra traps inside home and only caught a few. CONS: 1. Seems traps might be losing potency after some time. 2. Like others commented, traps kill moths after they get stuck, but the eggs may still hatch. Ordered more traps to get problem under control and throw out used traps before eggs hatch.

These work so well - they are absolutely amazing!
I had never even heard of pantry moths until we had little moths flying all over our garage. We discovered that we had purchased bird seed that was infested with them. FYI-They are especially active in the evenings. Then some made it into the house. Upon research I discovered they were pantry moths and this trap supposedly attracts them with pheromones. I didn't expect much but as I was opening the packages in the early afternoon to make a few of the tents, I started seeing them flying all over which usually doesn't happen that time of day and they were flying onto the glue before I could even get the traps put together. They are definitely attracted to the traps and I've caught over 50 in 6 traps in just a few hours. THIS IS AN AMAZING PRODUCT!!!!!!!!! The information clearly states that it ONLY works on pantry moths, not clothes moths or gypsy moths so the few reviewers who claim this doesn't work must have a different type of moth because believe me, this works on pantry moths!

These traps DECIMATE!!!!
I will always have these on hand after my garage became infested with pantry moths this last spring. At the peak of the infestation I would guess there were hundreds of moths in my garage. After 36 hours I noticed probably a 50% decrease in moths. Within a week I maybe saw 3 moths each day until day 14. At that point more moth eggs apparently hatched, within 3 days the population was back down to 1-3 seen per day. I placed 4 traps in my 2 car garage.

These traps can lure moths into your home
Be very careful when using these. They do work. They attract male moths. However, I found that I had eliminated the moths from my home, but the traps were luring moths from the outside so it seemed like I had a never ending moth problem even though there was no food source for them. Once I removed the traps, my problem disappeared.
