Lidar sensor adds the height and that portion bumps directly into low clearance furniture such as TV unit or Couch. In short, it can't accurately judge clearance level without bump sensor.2. Not advisable if you have stairs going down. Fails to judge almost everytime. You can work around this by creating virtual wall in app.3. Can't pick up pieces of tissue paper or rubber band etc. It doesn't stop or report error if a big tissue is under it. Needs its human to take care of it.4. Path finding to the charging/emptying station can be improved.5. Brushes are not as impressive with thick carpets, definitely needs improvement here.Verdict: A very good machine with a lot of features at a very good priceA DEFINITE BUY FOR APARTMENT OWNERS AND VILLA OWNERS WITH HARD FLOORS

This robot vacuum is life changing, specially for a busy household like ours. It allowed me to automate sweeping and mopping through the app and on the go. I found this really helpful as our house tends to get dusty specially during the summer and the amount of hair fall around the house is massive and this vacuum does the job of cleaning those. I specially like the automatic emptying of the dust as it has a bin in the station that collects it, although you can manually empty its tank as well should you wish to go that route. The best part is that it maps our house so it knows its exact area of cleaning; you can also see its virtual footsteps via the app so you can easily find it when it gets stuck in your house. Item was delivered quick. Highly recommended.

The good thing about this product is that it can vacuum clean, mop and empty itself into the dustbin. This will significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to keep your room/house clean.However, this is not a replacement to cleaning the room yourself. For example, it cannot clean hard stains on the tiles. You might have to clean that yourself. It also does not clean up corners because the robot is around so you'll have to mop that yourself too.It will climb on a small rug but not a heavy rug and we use a normal vacuum cleaner for thatAlso, it requires human intervention quite a bit. For example, if you wanted to go on the rug you should remove the mopping plate and then when it's time to mop you have to put the mopping plate back on. It will often get stuck around wires or will get its sensors dirty; it will then give you a warning and you have to pick it up and clean it so it is not intervention free. You will have to be around and pay attention

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of my ECOVACS Deebot N8+.The plastic mop attachment holder underneath the robot has completely cracked and broken during normal indoor use. The plastic became weak and brittle over time and literally started falling apart.Because of this damage, the charging pin section underneath has also shifted inward, and now the robot is no longer charging properly.This is clearly a serious build quality issue and not accidental damage. A premium robot vacuum should not have critical plastic parts disintegrating like this.The mop system is unusable now, and even the charging function has been affected because the broken plastic no longer holds the charging contacts correctly.Very disappointing durability and reliability from ECOVACS. Please improve the material quality and support customers facing this issue.

This vacuum cleaner is fantastic! I have been using it for 2 months and it does a fantastic job!It is straight forward to set up and work and then cleaning is very simple!I have a dog that sheds a lot and if I run it every day or every other day I don’t have hair everywhere. My floors are tiles with carpets it does a very good job! Especially if you set it to go over 2x each area.The same goes for the mop feature it works well, of course it is not like when a human does it, but good enough.Over all I am very happy with the robot!

Not very pleased with the pair. The robot itself is decent, picks up a lot of dust and hair from floor, and does a good job removing crumbs from the rug. When we first got it and used it, it had a tough time going back to the autoempty station to either re charge or empty. But after adjusting the location a few times it works fine now. However, 3 stars only because the autoempty station doesn’t really do anything as the robot isn’t able to empty any of the dust. Not sure why, but it could be that the hair is getting stuck in the dustbin and blocking the robot from emptying itself. I consider this a major design flaw. Also, the longer hairs do get stuck around the wheel, and on the brush which again, if it requires manual labor, it really defeats the purpose of having a robot vacuum. I shouldn’t have to clean the dustbin or remove the hairs stuck in the brush. If I knew this beforehand, would have definitely purchased the cheaper versions that don’t have an autoempty station.

This is my first cleaning robot. I watched a lot of youtube comparison videos. I didnt want some of the cheaper ones, or the really expensive ones. This was right in the middle.. And I LOVE it. Very smart, scanned the whole house into zones (you can choose what order to clean which are) and has a very strong vacuum and mop on back. Keeps the floors spotless. The auto empty station is a great idea as well. I recommend this for a medium robot vacuum budget.

It was working fine at the beginning (like 1 week) we were really happy. Then one day it stopped in the middle of the cleaning with a message of some sensor error. I did the troubleshooting but sadly we had to return it. Now thinking if I should buy it again or not...

Price and quality converge to provide a really well designed product. From the packaging to the actual robot, nothing is left to chance. Great at vacuuming carpets and tiled floors. Although its best to have carpets with a bit of 'body', soft or flimsy carpets are a problem, but that would apply to all robots. Mopping function is OK, but vacuuming is where it really shines. The cleaning station is also a welcome bonus. Highly recommended.

Après avoir longuement écumé les avis clients sur les robots aspirateurs laveurs, je me suis décidée pour celui-ci ( mon cadeau de Noël de moi a moi ^^)Après 1 mois d'utilisation, j'en suis ravie !- la mise en route est facile et bien expliquée.- l'appli intuitive, fonctionne très bien. Elle permet de faire démarrer votre robot de votre canapé ou du boulot !- efficace et rapide : en 30 minutes, mes 60m2 sont faits, le robot se déplace sans buguer au moindre deplacement de mobilier. A surveiller tout de même de ne pas laisser traîner les fils des chargeurs par exemple, il n'aime pas trop ça- très facile pour ajouter de l'eau (déminéralisée) avec un réservoir qui ne s'épuise pas en un passage- il retourne à sa base facilement et l aspiration finale est top, pas besoin de vider, tout part dans un sac qu'il faudra vider, vous êtes prévenus qu'il est plein. Pour l'instant je n'ai pas eu à le faire.Niveau aspiration : très satisfaisant pour mon besoin ! J'ai un sol carrelage de plain pied, il aspire facilement les poussières et tout ce qui est lié à un animal de compagnie 😅 croquettes, litière, poils.Niveau lavage : n enleve pas les taches tenaces mais entretient la propreté et la brillance. Permet de réduire considérablement le besoin en passage de serpillière pour ma part, ce qui était le but principal de mon achat.Pour les tapis, je n'ai pas encore testé, je mets le robot uniquement en mode aspirateur laveur ce qui lui interdit de monter sur les tapis. Il faut le passer en mode aspi seulement pour qu'il grimpe sur le tapis.Dernier point : j'ai un donc chat et j'avais peur qu'il "joue" avec. En fait il a eu assez peur les premiers fois, poils et queue hérissés mais ne l'a pas approché. Aujourd'hui ça fait partie de son quotidien, il regarde encore avec méfiance mais se détourne et le laisse entrer en action :)À ce prix et avec ce rendu et cette qualité d'appareil, je suis plus que ravie de mon achat !

We had new vinyl floor installed and I wanted to try a robot vacuum cleaner. I was sceptical but my husband convinced me to try it and I am very happy with this purchase. The product arrived very quickly and I was able to set it up without difficulty. I was surprised by the amount of packaging but all of it was cardboard and was put into recycling.The initial run through the house was just for mapping, although this had to run through 2x because the map didn't save the first time. Since then I've been able to put virtual boundaries in for places that have too many cords. The height of the robot means it goes under cabinets and my bed, which is what I wanted.The robot has been running every day since then with great success. I am happy that my new floors was clean, without scratches or marks. The robot does a great job cleaning up after us and our 2 cats. It's sucking up cat fur, dust, cat litter, pieces of dirt etc. The robot is self emptying, the rubbish is sucked out at the base station. This process is a little noisy but we have the base station set up in a spare room. I am yet to change the base station bag after 3 weeks with a daily clean.The robot has gotten stuck when I have left a cord or a rug out but the app quickly notifies me so I can retrieve it.The mopping function is basically dragging a wet cloth behind the robot which is fine. I didn't expect much of the mop but because I am using the robot every day I expect that this helps to keep the floors cleaner.Great product and would highly recommend!
