It is thin and does not alter the characteristic of the sole (at least I do not notice). For you guys with leathersole shoes - i can highly recommend this product. It will protect your shoes, and cut your shoemaker bills to a minimum over time. ps. at the photos I have not removed the part of the sole, covering stitching, I will and you should too.
