Can we get Makeup Forever to go back to this formula and packaging???? I can’t stand the new pencil!!! It’s encased in wood and you need a sharpener. Guess what? It won’t sharpen!!! Just crumbles and you end up sharpening all of the pencil away!! No joke!! I had the “new formula” pencil for 4 days and it was already half gone!! Grrrr But…..this original eyeliner, in the twist up packaging??? Freaking 100 out of 10!!! It doesn’t smudge. It doesn’t fade, it doesn’t smear. It just stays put!! My test is dancing at a concert, sweaty. This is the only pencil (the original like this one on Amazon) that passed! Even on my water line!!! Stays put!!! Come on makeup forever!!!! Please go back to the twist up pencil!!!

This eyeliner pencil stays in the waterline very well. It’s not good on the eyelids because it will smudge and transfer. If you need a great waterline eyeliner, this one works very well and is long lasting.

After buying this eyeliner a few years ago, I only buy this now. It goes on smoothly (I have black ones) and is doesn't smear. It lasts a LONG time and I never have to reapply. I always have one I'm using and one not opened yet so I'm never out. Great buy! Better than the most expensive brands.

This eyeliner does not even remotely live up to its claims. The tip is thick and greasy, and the built-in sharpener is useless. Upon application the line smudged immediately, but I cleaned it up and waited for it to set. An hour later, I had thick black smudges covering my undereye areas even though I had applied tiny dots only in the lash line, as per Smitha Deepak, whose product advice I no longer trust after purchasing this useless eyeliner. I had horrible smudges after one hour of wearing the liner in my cold house (I keep the temperature at 62 degrees). I did not sweat or engage in any physical activity while wearing the liner. I look forward to dropping off the return at UPS.

This is my second purchase of this make-up product. Worth every penny. You get what you pay for....not saying that some economical makeup products aren't any good or high price products are guaranteed to be wonderful. But this pencil I will continue to buy forever as long as I wear makeup. It is long lasting, heavy and dark, applies easily. I am glad I tried it. Thank you Amazon!

JUST OK

This pencil works pretty well for not smudging. I've had a hard time finding smudge-proof eye liner. It still smudges a little bit 2nd half of day but not terrible.

Finally I found the best eyeliner, is smooth , thin tip , easy to slide and last all day , is expensive but is worth it , i hope last long time for the price
