Review: NORMALLY CLOSED 12VDC DC PRESSURE SWITCH SENDER - This unit was tested and found to have continuity ("on") between the terminal and metal case in a "normal" unpressurized condition - such as when there is no oil pressure. The unit opens (breaks the circuit / "off") when pressurized. It works as a "perfect" (like-for-like) replacement to a "stock" oil pressure warning sender on my small block Chevy 327 - the original was found to have developed a leak. It arrived quickly and in a factory AC-Delco box. Although it came with thread sealant on the end, I used a bit of Teflon thread compound. I also suggest one consider using a socket dedicated to fitting these senders for installation and removal. It fit up and worked right, as expected for OEM.
