Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 Men’s Razor Handle, 9 Blade Refills

A manual razor for men. From a company that have been making them for a very long time. This is a razor that uses a five blade system for the blades. It's in a cardboard box. The lid of which doesn't close up again after opening. Things are inside in an open tray that feels more balsa than plastic. There's a razor. With a blade attached. Plus eight spare blades. Four each in two plastic trays. As ever just click a switch on the handle of the razor to change blade. Then you can put a new one in. A blue bit on the blade does flip back, to allow it to get closer to the skin. This has all been dermatologically tested and is suitable for sensitive skin. The shave you get from this is great. And one worth taking a time over, so you get it precise and good. It really does pick up all the hairs, and it left my skin feeling delightfully free of them and fresh with it. Good value considering how many spares you get. Plastic covers on them have to be taken off before use. And replacements are available separately once you get through these. Really good shaving experience. Great to have.

Very impressed with these razor blades. They actually give me a better much closer shave than the expensive Gillette brand and seem to last longer before replacing.

I have been using the Gilette Fusion for many years, but the price of spare blades made me look elsewhere. The Wilkenson is just as good. The handle is slightly off, in terms of ergonomic design - it doesnt feel as nice in the hands as the Gillette, and the detaching and attaching mechanism gives a slightly less positive reinforcement - however the blades are just as good. the shave from these is on par with the Gillette and I got the handle and seven blades for under £14. For this price, they are competing with the likes of Temu blades - which trust me look like a bargain but are not as good.

Great product and excellent value for money. It arrived quickly, was well packaged, and works exactly as described. Very pleased with the quality and would happily buy from this seller again.

Werkt niet zoals je denkt. De mesje liggen lager dan de plastics omhulsel waardoor je niet glad kunt scheren. Slechtste scheermes wat ik ook heb gebruikt. Weg werp is nog beter dan dit.

La qualità è ottima. Il taglio è lievemente inferiore alle gillette proglide ma il costo è veramente concorrenziale. Personalmente penso che se dovessero durare un po’ meno forse è meglio così si hanno lame più pulite ad ogni rinnovo. Très bien, il remplace un gilette à pile qui me saoulait justement à cause des piles! Ces lames coupent bien mieux, preuve en est qu'elles n'ont pas besoin de vibre pour couper...
