The scoop was a perfect size for my deicer that came right on time because of the recent ice storm we had. The scoop was very solid and how it was made, and it had their perfect ergonomic positioning for holding it and scooping out your product. You could probably use this with potting soil as well.

Got this scoop for my compost bin instead of using my hands. Wow, it's thick and sturdy. I was impressed with it just coming out of the package. I recommend it for heavy duty scooping.

Very sturdy and functional, we use it for scooping water softener salt pellets from those massive 40 lb. bags - works perfectly. The size is nice, neither too small nor too large, and the appearance is fine; the bright green color is a plus in that it stands out and is difficult to lose. The handle is also a positive in that it is strong enough for large scoops. Great for ice or sand or whatever requires a strong well-built scoop made of unbreakable material. Easy to clean with water and soap or in the top rack of the dishwasher. Very nice price too, which always helps
