Effective, but maybe too effective for certain materials
My poor thermal shirt. It arrived smelling so strongly of perfume that I had no choice but to strip the color out of it. I used this color remover, and wow — it worked. It pulled the dye right out, but left the once camouflagecolor fabric a mustard yellow. After that, the shirt wouldn’t accept any black or blue pigment no matter what I tried. So yes, the product is powerful and absolutely removes color, but be aware that some fabrics may not re‑dye well afterward.

Better than I had hoped for!
Did better than expected, given what I had to work with. I have 3 white towels that just weren't so white anymore. Part of the problem was just age. Part of the problem was dark things that had bled onto them in the wash. (Yes, I wash stuff together on cold. Don't judge me.) I ordered this, in hopes of it restoring the whiteness. I didn't realize when I ordered it that it requires hot water in order to work. Which I don't have in my washing machine setup. The workaround was hot water in the kitchen sink. I used 3 pouches of this to a sink of hot water. Let them soak for about 30 mins. When i took them out, i could already see improvement. Then washed them in the washing machine on cold with double the usual liquid detergent and about triple the usual bleach. They are 99% white again. If my setup had been better, I'm sure my results would have been 100%. Definitely 5 stars. If this happens again, I'll definitely buy more

Don't be like me
Works amazingly for what it's intended for also works a little too well for what you don't want. I washed a bunch of harem pants together because I though it would be safe since I had washed them all previously. A pair of hot pink ones from a company different than all the others bled onto the white parts of light yellow and I think blue pairs so I ran those separately with one pack of this powder. I am now the proud owner of two pairs of very light yellow pants as well as two pairs of kinda greenish brown pants.

Good but removes more than just areas of color bleed
First things first. Does it work? Yes is it flawless? No. I had a beautiful dark navy blue dress with a sheer overlay that was also really dark Navy with white dotted daisies I made the mistake of soaking the dress causing color bleed onto the white flowers. I tried to fix it with various home remedies which did not work and ultimately gave up on the dress until finding this product. Keep in mind it has been more than a year since I have opted to even try to fix this dress because I thought it was that far gone. And the photos attached. You can see that after just 10 minutes of being in the solution stirred constantly, the color was removed off of the white petals, although appeared a little bit Brown/ beige initially. After rinsing and washing per instructions provided, the flowers returned to their beautiful white. Unfortunately the background blue of the sheer overlay completely lost. Its saturation and now looks more like a light. Blue/ white fabric with light blue hue. I gave it four stars because it was non-selective in the color removal and unfortunately in my case I will have to completely remove the overlay and replace it.

Didn’t do a thing
I washed a red rag in a load of laundry and turned all the whites pink. I was so excited to find this product and really hopefully. I have a top load washer and followed the directions carefully but unfortunately it didn’t do anything at all. I did it twice too but no luck. And yes it does stink. Some people have luck it sounds like so I guess it works for some but not me. My next idea is to take my favorite stuff from the ruined load and dye it a darker color to try and save it lol. Like a sucker I’m buying dye from the same brand 😂 Maybe that’s the idea.

Pink to white instantly!
BUY IT!! Turned your laundry pink? Yeah me too! Accidentally turned white shirts for my bachelorette party pink in the wash 2 days before I left. This stuff saved the day! Don’t bother with the washing machine instructions just do it on the stove, dipped each shirt for less than a min and they were back to bright white!

Works the majority of the time.
Works nicely for getting the color out of most clothes but only with the boiling pot/stove method, does not work in the laundry/washer!!! And it does not work as good on black clothing.

It literally removed dark red from white linen pants!
I couldn't believe it when I saw my white linen pants come out completely white after trying to self dye them at home. I keep these little boxes on hand at all times now, because they also work on stains to white fabrics!

My go to fabric colour remover! Always works!
Have used this many times and always get a guaranteed result…it’s a pain that it’s a stovetop method but it does get if not all then 95% colour out quickly and you can almost see it happening! Simple to use…(make sure you’re in a well ventilated area as it’s potent!) heat the water, add the powder, add the items (you need a big container and don’t overcrowd it, I have a large jam pan I use for this and only put 2 up to 5xl T-shirts in at once. My pan doesn’t have a lid so I cover it with tin foil to keep the temperature consistent and I’ve never had any problems.), yes it’s hot work and you have to keep it moving by stirring it and you really should use all metal stuff and only for non food but I find it’s worth it. I find sometimes you need to do it twice if the colour is strong but it’s the best on the market and doesn’t wreck the fibres and gives great consistency. I’m not one for always separating my whites from colours so everything slowly turns to grey or blue but one evening spent doing this to all my “white” clothes and they’re back to white again….even the ones with printed logos don’t lose much of the printed design colours so it really seems to only affect the cloth fibres. This time the aim was to remove P20 suncream stains from some old T-shirts as I’ve lost weight since I relegated them to the chores only pile due to the staining…now I have a load of pristine T-shirts again…just in time for the summer!

Worked like a charm
Removed the pink from white clothes after a washing incident, easy to use, doesn’t smell offensive and did exactly what it said it would and removed dye run from cotton.
