OLEOPEL Oleophobic Coating Wipe

READ THIS REVIEW!!! It may be the only review you'll really need to read about this product. Short story: This product DOES WORK, but there are some things you need to keep in mind and pay CLOSE ATTENTION to in order for the product to work well for you. First, the obvious, THIS IS NOT A SCREEN PROTECTOR, this will NOT do anything to protect your screen from scratches or hits, this will only restore the Oleophobic coating on your screen... Now with that out of the way, let's start: My Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is such a great phone, no complains, but with already two years in the market, the oleophobic coating on it's anti-reflective screen had wore out, and since putting on a regular tempered glass protector would take away my favorite feature from it, which is it's anti-reflective feature, I was looking for just bringing back the coating to keep it from gathering fingerprints and oil stains. Now... Did this product work? Like a charm... I had ZERO hopes but now I am absolutely shocked on how good it all worked.... BUT HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KEEP IN MIND: First, this is a little cloth soaked in a product, not a miracle wipe brought to you by jesus christ, so don't expect a miracle... Will the screen have some fingerprints after you apply it? YES... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING can make a screen not gain the fingerprints, what this will do is making you screen so soft and silky that any oil stain will come right off with just a little wipe with any fabric... let me talk to you about my experience: My screen was an absolute magnet for fingerpints... And that wasn't even the worst part, it was the smudges.... the problem was not the fingerprints and oil getting on the screen, the problem was that anytime I tried to clean it, the oil would just move around without ever leaving the screen... I had to apply soap or alcohol if I wanted to get rid of it and even that didn't work perfectly all the time. After applying the product, I have had even SOY SAUCE fall on the screen and with a few wipes using a napkin or microfiber cloth (the best results by far) the screen was good as new... in the worst case scenario I have only had to take a litle piece of toilet paper and moist it with a little water and that's it... run it around the screen and it went back to being perfect... as you can see in the pictures... this was UNACHIEVABLE before. Now... the most important part... How do you apply this in order to work?? This is what I did: First, CLEAN THE SCREEN... They give you a alcohol soaked cloth to do so but DO NOT SETTLE FOR THAT... What I did is that, since my phone is water resistant, I applied water and soap and then water again using toilet paper to not leave new oil and stains on the screen with my fingers, then I used a little piece of cotton soaked in alcohol to clean the screen again and another piece of cotton to dry it up and THEN I used the cloth that was in the box to make it as clean as it could be. Second, applying the product... I opened the little envelope using scissors to only open the necessary to bring the cloth out.... unfolded it just a little and wiped the screen with it being very careful to NOT TOUCH THE SCREEN IN THE PROCESS... Then, I PUT THE CLOTH BACK IN ITS ENVELOPE AND CLOSED IT... This is very important since I recomend to apply it a second time.... I left it 10min exactly to dry out and then pollished it with the microfiber cloth that also came in the box.... then I APPLIED IT A SECOND TIME... took the cloth from the envelope and unfolded it completely and this time I only made sure that the screen was covered in the liquid... just one or two wipes were enough... and I left it to dry for another 10min before pollishing it again with the microfiber. THIRD, THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP.... Leave the phone rest for AT LEAST 8 HOURS, 10 is better, ideal... DO NOT TOUCH IT AT ALL and by any means, don't let any fabric scratch it... just leave it on a table for ten hours straight... and then polish it with the microfiber cloth again... and you're good to go. I also recommend turning the phone off and not charging it throughout the whole process so it stays at room temperature and doesn't get hot since that might affect the results. If you do as I say... I have no doubts that you will be VERY happy with the results, as I certainly am!... I will be purchasing this product every 6 months from now on to reinforce the coating... Since I thing this is the perfect solution to my problem.

Estafa total, se siguió al pie de la letra las instrucciones por lo mismo de las reseñas negativas. Quise ver si quizá era la mala instalación por parte de usuarios, pero no, realmente no sirve en lo absoluto. Se limpio, se le aplicó el tratamiento y se dejó reposar durante 12 horas y el resultado es inexistente

I put this on yesterday and didn't touch it until today and there's absolutely no difference, waste of money!! Also it's collecting way more dust and it's so annoying, very disappointed!!

Barely worked if at all. My screen still gets crazy fingerprints - definitely not worth the money

I left this coating on my phone's screen for almost five hours before using the phone which is more than is recommended (although the instructions make it sound like overnight would be a good idea). And it appeared to have done the job. But in the last few weeks the screen has reached a point where more fingerprints show up than prior to using the product. I was tempted to buy it again and try leaving it on overnight but considering the crappy results I decided to skip that idea. Now I'm having to figure out how to remove this crap from the phone's screen. I'd give it minus five stars if I could.
