PH indicator strips
these PH strips are fine for soil testing - only drawback is that the use instructions are only in Chinese - i know how to sample and test so it wasnt a problem for me but would be a serious drawback for those who do not have testing training or skills - hence 1 star off.

Great value
Good price. Simple to use. Don’t know that they are precisely accurate but rainwater run off a shed roof tested as slightly acidic which makes sense to me and if it’s correct then I’ve saved money on buffer that I don’t need. So I’m happy.

Very Very small
Ok i suppose for smaller Japanese finger's, but a bit flimsy for my hands.

Unsuitable for soil
The litmus paper generally works, but it is inaccurate and not sensitive enough to pick up soil readings. I tried it in the kitchen first: baking soda PH=8.5 -- shows as 8.0 sea salt PH=7.0 -- shows as 6.0 (amber) milk PH=6.4-6.8 -- shows as 6.0 (amber) beer PH=4.4 -- shows as 5.0 (amber, very slightly warmer) white wine PH=3.2 -- shows as 3.8 Colours for PH 5 and 6 in the chart are very difficult to tell apart, both are amber. So, the colours produced by sea salt, milk and beer (actual PH 3.4-7.0) looked almost the same. This is a range of a particular interest for gardeners! Inaccuracy, however is not the main problem. The test requires high concentration of the substance, which is not happening in the soil. When I squeezed a blueberry in a small measure of water, the acidity was not detected, the strip stayed amber. I had to rub the berry on the strip in order to make it go pink. None of the soil tests changed the strip colour. So, shopping for a better test...

There are no instructions in English as to how to test .
Plenty of test strips but everything in a far eastern language - so no instructions for me.
