My daughter has thick curly hair and these are the only hair ties that actually hold her hair up. She can put it in and it will hold all day. They hold up pretty well for the price!

I saw these extra-long hair elastics and knew they'd be perfect for making bandana masks to cover noses and mouths during the COVID-19 pandemic. There are lots of tutorials about how to fold a bandana and use two hair ties for the pieces that go over the ears, but the smaller ties can be very tight on larger faces. I decided to order these and see if it solved that "too tight" problem and it did! I was able to easily fold a standard size bandana put one of these hair elastics on each end and loop them over my ears. This results in a comfortable to wear (double thickness) mask that's easy to get on and off and throw into the washing machine when done. It took a long while to get these ties (back-ordered) and it may be because of the way I'm using them. If you can get them though, they are great. Of good quality and you get enough tot to make several masks.
