Basic, Solid, Good Quality
These are good, basic edge guards. They are strongly made, and stay in place on the blade. These make good safety equipment for knives stored in drawers - they protect both the blade and your fingers! They are also good for safely transporting or shipping your valuable kitchen tools. NOTE: These guards are felt-lined, which improves their hold on the blade and prevents scratches, but will also retain liquids or grit which can rust, stain or scratch your blades. Be sure your knife is DRY and CLEAN before you put one of these guards on it.

Works Well
I have a variety of butcher knives I keep in a drawer that I wanted to keep safe and protected. These knife sleeves work well and fit all the sizes I need. I’m sure they will help in keeping the blades sharp And I don’t need to worry about grandkids reaching in there unknowingly and getting hurt on the knives. Plus they are thin enough they don’t take up bulk in the drawer.

Sheath for Electric Carving Blades
Was looking for sheath for electric Carving Knife 8" blades. These worked perfectly and hold the blades securely and safely. Very low price... Great value.

One Side Is Open
I was surprised that you don’t slide the knife in from the bottom. One side is actually open and it seems dangerous. You have to fit the blade in exactly between the opening. This is hard to do right now but hoping it will loosen up over time. We are keeping it but it’s not what I was expecting.

Fits and Works exactly as needed.
Fits my ikea and japanese 8 and 8 1/2" blades very well. I like the felt lining which provides some grip so the cover doesn't fall off.

Exactly what I needed
Got these to fit one big knife and one smaller one. The smaller one I got to fit by scoring both sides at the same line and snapping it off. It worked very well. I added a couple rubber bands to make sure they don't slide off in the drawer.
