The only problem is the strap is too long for a guy like me with skinny legs. It slides more than I'd like. Might have to cut and re-sew the strap, wrap twice around your leg or pin it to adjust the length. Recommended. ## Features - Brushed Aluminum Construction: Provides a strong, durable writing surface. - VFR Quick-Reference Placard: Includes essential flight information for fast access. - Adjustable Elastic Leg Strap: Ensures a secure and comfortable fit without binding. - Strong Metal Clip: Holds charts, checklists, and notes securely. - Built-In Pen/Pencil Holder: Conveniently keeps writing tools within reach. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07C89KZ2H | | Best Sellers Rank | 452,670 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) 18 in Kneeboarding | | Brand | ASA | | Brand Name | ASA | | Colour | Silver, black, white | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 1,240 Reviews | | Fastener Type | Metal Clip | | Fastener type | Metal Clip | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00855734008569 | | Included Components | Elastic legband, Metal clip | | Item Weight | 0.17 Kilograms | | Item weight | 0.17 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | ASA | | Manufacturer Part Number | 8541748217 | | Material | Aluminium | | Material Type | Aluminium | | Model Number | 8541748217 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of items | 1 | | UPC | 855734008569 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** ASA - **Colour:** Silver, black, white - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00855734008569 - **Item weight:** 0.17 Kilograms - **Number of items:** 1 ## Images ![ASA New VFR Kneeboard ASA-KB-1-A, 9.5 Inches, Kneeboard, 455845031 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71YmNGiujFL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How long is the velco strap (how thick of a thigh could it work with)?** A: It’s 3/4” wide **Q: Is the clip strong enough to hold an iPad?** A: It is not. Get a kneeboard designed to securely hold the tablet for not only its protection but also to not allow a heavier, loose object to become free in the cabin. **Q: Does the strip adjustable for the leg? because the picture didn't show how this would be adjustable.** A: It's a Velcro fastener so it's adjustable by how tight you make the Velcro fastener. **Q: Is the pen holder reversible so that this can be worn on either the right or left leg?** A: Yes it is. It is part of the strap and can be removed and installed in reverse to get the pen holder on the other side. Good product and useful. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bueno *by Y***Y on 28 April 2026* Muy buena calidad, funcional ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good knee board for flying *by A***5 on 2 August 2026* I use it while flying on a regular basis.
