Is the company able to program this radio for base model mustangs that start with a 4 inch screen? i already purchased the 8inch ford dask kit

You will still need a harness adapter, but yes. It will work. I recently did this conversion.

I don’t know about the mustang but I bought a sync 3 to update my 2014 F250 sync 2. It’s exactly as easy as the video instructions say it is. Plug and play - no issues and worked immediately. Just make sure to answer the seller about the vin. I did send a picture and typed it out. No issue! Locally they wanted $1400. I bet they’re buying these and selling them with a mark up because they all come from china.

Enabling heated and cooled seats if the car did not originally have it, is that an option?

The unit will be pre-programmed by the VIN you provide at the time of purchase. If your VIN does not reflect those options those options will not be installed. If you upgraded to heated/cooled seats after your vehicle purchase, you may be able to contact the seller and ask if the feature(s) can be added. I purchased the unit for a 2014 F-350 Platinum with heated/cooled seats and heated steering wheel. When I installed the unit, plug and play, all functions work with no additional software upgrades or programming. Even the Sirius radio worked as is.
