9, 128GB + 8GB RAM, Astral Black - Unlocked (Renewed)

This came carrier locked to T-Mobile. It was not difficult to get a code to u lock it but every time I flash it, I need to go through a carrier unlock routine and provide a file I received from T-Mobile/OnePlus.

I have been a OnePlus fan since 2019. This was my second phone of the series. With unmatching photo capabilities and smooth finishes it is awesome for both work and fun. Oops...work? well, here lies the problem. I had to return this wonderful phone 'cos my company do not permit its app to run on it. (....chineese origin may be). So reluctantly I had to return it. Now about the seller- this was a refurbished phone and shipped by RDX Inc, where refund was guranteed under 90 day Amazon policy. However, on printing out return shipment receipt it mentioned a plethora of instructions and a 19% reduction for "re-stocking". I was ready for a fight, but Amazon customer care came for the rescue. After a few nights of scare, I was issued a full refund. (I dont hold any grudges against the seller. Afterall they need to keep their business afloat) As for the phone brand- go for it. As for purchasing a refurbished phone - Beware, you may not get all original products. I was given a samsung charger in the pack. As for the seller - better buy products sold & shipped by Amazon to avoid sleepless nights on opting for return or refund.

At first I didn't know if it was gonna be compatible with cricket, but after installing my sim card it took some minutes to make an update and it did work with cricket, i just gotta say that you loose the 5g capabilities.

I purchased this phone thinking it would be unlocked to my carrier of T-Mobile, however I spent a half a day on the phone with T-Mobile trying to connect my SIM card to this phone. Thinking I did something wrong during the setup phase, I chose to do a factory reset to start over from scratch. When I reached the setup part asking to insert my SIM card, I inserted my SIM card but nothing happened. The phone just kept asking me to connect to Wi-Fi for the setup process to continue. The phone stated there was no mobile data service available. Once I remove the SIM card and placed it back into my T-Mobile phone, It began to work just fine. I then made an attempt to call the carrier's number during business hours, however the phone number just went to a voicemail. I was not going to continue to get the runaround on a phone that isn't compatible with my carrier. It was a complete waste of my day having to deal with this. I'll be looking to get a refund and never go through this seller.

So while OnePlus is on number 12, this device still rocks. The display, and enhanced audio makes this one I feel actually perform better than the 10 but is easily outmatched by the 11 and 12. Still bang for the buck this phone is still worth having in 2024.

Bought in "fair" condition, which is fine considering how rough I am on things. It doesn't come with a warp charger, just an Amazon 3A one.

This is not the CDMA version as stated. It's the GSM

Its start to blink the display by it once. Hope wont repeat
