Beautiful story connecting very young and very old
Greatest children’s book ever. Only difficult part for me is to read it without crying. Such a beautiful story. The illustrations are first-rate. I bought this copy for a cousin who is running a library for elementary students and told her she HAD to add it to her collection. I couldn’t even describe the book to her. My wife had to finish the story while I broke down.

Beautiful story of the importance of intergenerational friendships
I absolutely LOVE this book! The intergenerational friendships the beautiful story of finding ones memories back and reliving a life well-lived… it makes me tear up every time we read it together. I’ve recommended it to many friends around us who have aging parents struggling with memory loss and share it with health care and support workers at care homes when I have a chance. It’s such a beautifully told story!
