Mikasa, Delano Flatware Service for 4, 20 Piece Set, 18/0 Stainless Steel Silverware Set

Outstanding flatware set. I've been searching fruitlessly for years to find more flatware to complement my favorite set from the early 2000s, with a pleasantly heavy weight, rounded edges, some thickness to the handle (not "flat" or feeling like it was just stamped from sheet metal), straight or mostly-straight handles, good balance, and no sharp edges on the spoons. Basically no one makes them like that after 20 years of periodic searching. Finally found this godsend at an overstock store and then bought more on Amazon. These are fantastic! They feel so great to hold. They have slightly more upward curve at the tail end of the handle than I would have preferred, but that has actually grown on me and I can see a case for it being easier to hold/use that way. They pick up some spots and such of course in the dishwasher, and have picked up some scratches from other silverware, but who cares - they still keep their overall stainless-steel shine and don't broadly corrode. They feel great to hold - with the fairly heavy weight and wonderfully rounded handles - and and that's what matters. I'd say they look pretty sleek and stylish in terms of overall contours, too. The handle shape is perfect, and I find that I kind of like the more-circular-than-usual shape of the spoon bowls.

Love this set. Weight is substantial and the minimalistic design is exactly what I was looking for.

I found these at Costco a few months ago for half the price but only bought 4 place settings. Fell in love with them but they’re out of stock at Costco so bought another 4 place settings here for twice the price. But worth it. So durable, modern and feel so smooth when holding them. Like buttah.

I love this silverware set! It is silky smooth in my hand. I like the weight of each piece. I put it in the dishwasher and it comes out beautifully. It was a great buy!

I bought two sets in a store but they didn’t have the third set I needed (big family). I found these online and they are identical to what I got in the store. Nice quality. Great no-frills design.

Very pretty however don’t leave in water next to other or in dishwasher, they get rust on them, it does wipe right off so no issue but it happens more than I like

I’m not writing a dumb review such as “what can I say? Is a fork. It stabs food”. This set is beautifully designed. The fork and knife feel hefty on your hand and they’re well balanced. The one outstanding piece here is the spoon. Contrary to most designs, the front of the spoon is slightly wider than the back part that meets the handle. That feature makes the spoon work very well and liquids within it are perfectly contained. You have to try it to see what it feels like. I’m very satisfied with this purchase. Those are quality products at a reasonable price.

I've had this 3 of these sets for a couple years now (12 place total), and despite not following all care instructions perfectly, all pieces are in great shape. no signs of discolouration. Pieces are nice and solid, however sometimes I will pick up a slimmer spoon depending on the need.

I’ve been using daily as my new utensils. Although I wash by hand, the gold is wearing off already and it’s only been a couple months. At least they’re stainless steel so they will last regardless. I love Them.

States dishwasher safe but cutlery is coming out tarnished/rust like. I have never had any other cutlery come out this way from the dishwasher. Very disappointed in quality. Contacted Mikasa and they will not provide a refund.

They were sturdy and a bit heavy, but as I took them out the box and rubbed the surface of a fork my hands got dark and the fork lost part of its coating. The coating might be dangerous to ingest and I wouldn't want a spotted set of cutlery after the first use. I packed them and returned them immediately.

Dislike that you constantly see marks on these spoons. I mistakenly purchased the satin set and regret it as even if I polish them you still see finger prints or water marks on tgem
