It’s made in Israel.
Best loppers I’ve ever used. These would cut through a rhinoceros if I needed to. Super tough and sharp as all get out. The handles are fiberglass whereas the hardware is all metal. I have had no problem cutting through 1.5” branches like butter. Worth it if you need a tool for life.

Quick, effective, and feels durable.
Cuts through my mango tree limbs quickly and with ease. I have around 60 trees between 3’-40’ so it gets used for sure. Bringing this up a ladder isn’t the hardest and you can get a good range also. It also feels like it will last quite a few seasons.

The best pair of loppers I have used.
TABOR TOOLS GG12 Anvil Lopper with Compound Action, Chops Thick Branches with Ease, Tree Trimmer, Branch Cuttter with 2 Inch Clean Cut Capacity, 30 Inch. I purchased these to replace Corona FL 3470 Compound Action Bypass Lopper with Extendable Handles, 1-1/2" Cut, 21" to 33" Length which are the worst pair of loppers I have used. I needed a good pair of loppers that could handle a LOT of use and finally, after comparing many different types and brands I settled on TABOR TOOLS GG12A Anvil Lopper. The product title says GG12 but the Item model number and the tool says GG12A. Once these arrived I went to find some work for the loppers and they surprised me. I had been using my neighbor's Corona FL 3470 loppers(I take care of their landscaping too) and I now know what I've been missing. The handles are nice and comfortable. I read a review stating the grips were "rock hard" but they're not. They aren't cushy foam grips that will deteriorate over time either(Looking at you Corona). The handles are sorta long so this isn't good for close quarter trimming. At the same time the amount of space needed to fully open the loppers is less than some others I've used. The business end has a little hook on the tip that looks like it prevents the blades from rejecting a slippery fat limb. It's the little things that show TABOR TOOLS puts thought into their products. For those who might be wondering the difference between bypass and anvil loppers it's pretty simple. The bypass blades bypass each other and cut the same way a pair of scissors does. An anvil lopper has 1 blade and an "anvil" and cuts similar to a chef's knife on a cutting board. They were well greased at the factory so keeping them greased is my responsibility. But how do they cut? Does it really cut like a knife through butter? Close but no. The old loppers I was using needs a LOT of help from whoever is operating them. Usually it's the tool that is supposed to allow you to work smarter and not harder. These new Tabor Tools loppers do the work for me like they're supposed to. There is a certain width that I don't even try with the Corona loppers. I was applying the same thinking with these loppers but Coronoa's 3470 1 1/2" and Tabor's 2" GG12A are very different. Hmmmm. WOW. I looked at the fat 2" limb with doubt and got a good bite and firmly pressed the handles together. The limb was easily cut and with the thinner branches the GG12A actually chuckles with the light work and cuts closer to a hot knife through warm butter. The old Corona would shred thin and green branches necessitating traditional pruning shears. Now I can use 1 tool instead of two. Do I recommend TABOR TOOLS GG12 Anvil Lopper with Compound Action, Chops Thick Branches with Ease, Tree Trimmer, Branch Cuttter with 2 Inch Clean Cut Capacity, 30 Inch.? Yes I do.

Good for larger bushes and branches
Worked well for larger branches. So far has lived up to specs advertised. Is a little heavy but to do the job they have to be a bit beefy

Cuts well and robust
The lopper cuts well, thick branches also. It seems robust enough to last a long time. The cutting head is a little heavy.

Not cheap, but you get what you pay for
I have a few sheers for cutting bushes and tree limbs, it's older and its hard to cut through a lot of stuff unless it's under a half inch thick. I purchased this TABOR TOOLS lopper because it has the anvil style cutting mechanism. This is important because anything like scissors will bend the blades as the scissor action twists on the tree limbs. I also selected this tool because of all the highly rated reviews ... people seemed to like it even though there were alternatives that were half the cost, so I figured I'd go for the gold and see if they were right or not. I found that: 1. The lopper is able to cut through anything I tried it on. And it cut branches with ease. There's some effort required on the 2" stuff, but below that, it's like butter. 2. This is well made, the components are beefy, and it was assembled with all the parts tight. I checked because I didn't want to lose parts if they got loose. 3. I saw another reviewer say the hand grips were painful. That almost made me want to not buy this, but after using it myself, I think that guy must have had odd shaped hands or something because there is zero issues using it. My arms have a bit of soreness in them after chopping up tree limbs for an hour, but my hands are fine, no blisters or anything. Totally worth it.

Lived up to reputation given by others...
Arrived in reasonable/quick time. My first impression was that length was a bit short at 22 inches. I actually researched loppers looking for 36 to 48 inch length. Nothing I could find generated good ratings for the handle strength or the extension methods used in these long handles. Many were reported as poor quality for the price & hype. So I simply researched quality loppers instead. These were at or near the top of many reviews. And I agree. If you do not use them abusively I see no reason why these will not last many years of normal use. On my test run I lopped brush & branches as large as 3 inches. They are rated for 2 inches & cut this thickness with ease. The leverage is easily 3 times normal as described. At 2 inches & below it is like slicing butter. Above that more effort is required but still doable. Just be sure NOT to get too large where you feel forced to twist or pry with the cutter. You can easily bend or break the points/blade. It is designed to cut. NOT twist or pry. Under 3 inches the cutting is easy. I give them 5 stars for quality, ability & delivery on time (early). At 22" the handle are strong & long enough for most tree trimming without a ladder. Length makes them very nice to use for brush/briars close to the ground. Overall, a very positive purchase with future maintenance very easy to accomplish. Spare parts are also readily available. This brand is long term with an already strong history.

Wow, those five star reviews weren't wrong!
There are so many different types and make loopers that I had a difficult time deciding which to purchase? I decided since I have about two acres planted in various trees, including fruit and citrus trees, that I would get the best, no matter the cost, but hopefully at a reasonable price. I looked at many of the top brands and read reviews and looked at many in stores, and even at the local farm supply store near my home. Though Corona is one of the top brands used in the orchards here, I decided to give these a try based on the great reviews. Wow, they were not wrong! From the moment I opened the package I could tell these were good quality and were going to be great use. They appear very well made and feel stout in my hands with the oval handles. I started my annual spring trimming in my small and orchard and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and smooth these cut through the branches up to 3", and even the old dried ones. I generally top my trees with a pole saw/cutters, and I use a chain saw for the ticker branches, but found myself using these for almost 95% of my trimming and cutting. Up on a ladder I was able to reach most the tree tops with the long reach of these loppers and I breezed through what was usually agonizingly slow work. These turned out far better than I expected, and if you are up in the air about which ones to get, you can't go wrong with these. Why would you really want to save a few dollars and get something of lesser quality? For just a few dollars more, you can get a great quality lopper that look like they will last a very long time!
