Fender Tele Body Bookend Set

I love my Fender guitars. And I love that these bookends are made from real guitars. If only the engineering was as slick as on Leo's inventions...I unboxed my set, and placed them on either side of the books I'd had waiting for their arrival. Then, while I watched, the bookends slid out on the shelf, and the books kept tilting, until it was all a big mess. Fender, you need to put non-skid bottoms on these!I fixed mine by nailing a couple thin lath strips to the bottom of each bookend. They extend out, underneath the nearest books. Just like many "real" bookends I've seen. (hello?)If all you have is a few books that mostly stand up on their own, then these look nice standing "next to" them. But they won't hold 'em up.

A little smaller than I would have thought but they are a good size for bookends. Seemed to be well made and very durable. Wish that you could choose the color. These are going into a rock and roll themed room so they go perfect with the decor. Very happy with the purchase.

The product looked great and was exactly what I wanted, but it had an obvious defect on the face of the guitar body. The defect was an extra drill hole that was plain to see. The manufacturer either had no quality control check or simply shipped it with the defect playing the odds that the buyer would not bother with a return. As much as I wanted this product, I had to return it because the defect was obvious, detracted from its value and was overall unacceptable.

Amazing product! It is pretty well made and looks amazing! I got the white color and I'm very happy with it!

Not happy. Nice bookends, shapewise, but color randomly assigned; I I got sparkly gold. What a ridiculous color.Can't return because I'm in Canada. Maybe I'll get 5 bucks at a garage sale.
