With the scope set on mag 1X I can see the full image field at about 3 inches. For mag 4X it is about 2.5 inches. I wear glasses and don't know if this affects the distance.

**Q: Can you adjust the ocular for near or far sightedness?**
A: No it does not adust it sights at a fixed distance

**Q: will this scope work on a mosin nagant**
A: The relief is probably a little short, I have two Mosin's and my cheek weld sits about 6-7 inches behind the bolt.
