CrosmanCrosman Squirrel Reset Target, Metal

My son and I love to shoot and this target is a blast! Yes, it's just a couple chucks of metal in the shape of a squirrel...but it's a challenge at 25 yards to hit the kill zone and the reset plate for my boy and he is learning valuable lessons in shot placement, breathing techniques, and windage. Shooting paper isn't very fun because it lacks any responsiveness to the shooter. When you hit the squirrel target you get a very satisfying DING! I as a veteran love shooting this target for that very reason. The quality is spot on too. Thick enough metal that you aren't going to damage it using a 177 or 22cal break barrel or entry level PCP such as the Urban. The paint is thick but will eventually need to be replaced, but that is to be expected. 100% recommend to all airgunners looking for a great way to practice that is more entertaining that punching holes in cardboard and paper targets.

A great little plinking target. I shoot at 20-30 yards and it has held up well. My daisy 880 has no issue with the initial knock down target, but struggles a bit with the reset at a little under 20 yards. Loosening the bolt a bit so that it moves loosely is recommended for lower powered air rifles. My .22 Umarex had no issue at all resetting it at 20-30 yards. I had to tighten the bolt back up a bit as the force from my more powerful .22 actually caused the swing mechanism to slip and it works perfect now. I now use it primarily for plinking with my .22 and it works fantastic.

Well, now THAT'S fun! I put some oil on the pivot and this trips and resets with 4 pumps in my Crosman 1377; reset requires a center-low shot, which adds to the challenge. My only knock is that, while the black paint withstands impacts, the yellow paint comes right off (making this like a splatter target!). Not a big deal, but the contrast shows that they could use better yellow paint; then this would be a five-star product.

This is a great target. You set it and then fire the pellet at it and instead of resetting it: we just fired at the release and it would reset itself. We purchased this target about two years ago and I’m just now doing a review because there is no way I can give a valid review without trying it out for a while. This target is made out of heavy steel too and will hold up. BB Gun or pellet guns; nothing of a higher caliber or it could damage it. I highly recommend it and it will provide great practice on shooting

Good target, but I could not use the post to stick it in the ground. The photo shows 2 wing nuts going into the post, yet the item I received only had 1 hole with 1 wing nut. Even then, the post would not align with the main part of the target. The welding was way off. I had to bolt the target (squirrel) to a piece of 2x4 and then attach it to a tree. Works fine. You hit the yellow circle in the squirrel, and it opens. Then hit the bottom circle, and it will close the upper circle. Works as intended (except for the post).

Good quality heavy steel resetting

I love crosman products and this one doesn't disappoint. The paint does wear off but hey you are shooting at it lol keep a can of spray paint handy and you are all set. I have had this outside all summer through tons of rain and the mechanism still has never failed! For some great reset target fun get this. It's cheap durable and fun to shoot at.

El material es bueno para colocar a unos 20 metros, es para pellets solamente, no usar balines porque rebotan, solo pellets 5.5 o 4.5 a buena distancia para no deformar el material.

Muy funcional, práctico y excelente calidad.
