Yes. This is M5. Dont risk using other brands. I have 250k on my AT Mazda 3. Have only used this for all the fluid changes. Works great.

which one then is for power steering. my cx7 manual says power steering fluid atf m-iii, m-v or equivalent. atf means automatic transmission fluid?

you can use this fluid (atf m-v) for transmission and power steering or you can use atf mercon III just for power steering NOT for transmission. and yes atf mean automatic transmission fluid and yes you can use transmission fluid for power steering if the manual calls for it and in your case it does.
