Description says this has plastic hooks but some reviewers say metal. Can anyone who bought in 3/15 say which they received?

I ordered at two separate times. Both the 15"x 30" and the 15"x15" nets didn't have "just tipped in plastic over metal hooks", but very "durable, heavy duty all plastic hooks". These nets are awesome and made well.

Will this stretch to atleast 20 inches thanks

Is this net strong enough to hold a 60 pound sand bag? Need counterweights when my airplane is on jacks for its annual.

The net is intended for use on a motorcycle. If you're thinking of suspending it upside down and placing a sand bag on it, then that is something for you to test yourself.

Will the hooks fit into 1/2” wide and 3/8” tall kayak pad eyes?

They should, the hooks are roughly 1/4" x 1/4". I use my net on my motorcycle and don't use the hooks.
