Prevents Shiny Marks on Polyester Golf Shirts
My husband irons almost everything he wears. I noticed several of his synthetic golf shirts were developing shiny marks from the iron and remembered that my grandmother had an ironing shoe to prevent iron shine on fabrics. I did a quick search on Amazon and was pleased to learn that these are still available. I compared various ones and ordered this one hoping to help my husband. Thus far the shoe seems to be working as intended and preventing shine marks on my husband‘s shirts. Also, it was easy to put the shoe on the iron. The spring holds it securely on our Sunbeam iron. I like that the spring is covered by a silicone shield. This is a small improvement over the ironing shoe my grandmother had.

I use this everyday.
I have been using these for years on my irons and would highly recommend them to anyone who quilts, sews or still irons clothes, etc. You can set your iron to the highest setting and not worry about scorching or damaging your fabric. They are great and I love these. Highly recommend.
