Good replacement for Milwaukee wool pads
I needed only the wool pad (not foam) to replace the one included with my Milwaukee #2438 buffer. These matched it as far as I could tell, and have performed just as well for polishing (furniture finishes). The flat velcro underside was a slightly smaller diameter than my hook mounting pad. Pressing the wool pad down connected it well and would have worked fine, but since I planned to keep using these buffers, I ran the tool with the black mounting pad only and held it lightly against my disc sander (any sander would probably work) for about 5 seconds; long enough to evenly take off about 1/16" of the mount, reducing the diameter by 1/8". The pads now fit just right, with no change in the attachment or performance of original and brand name accessories. I definitely recommend these as reasonably-priced, durable wool buffing pads.

Don’t worry about the fibers
I’m using these on my 22ft boat on the small area’s. Like everyone says you need to break them in first and get all the lose fibers out. The first one I used the hook and loop pad came off of the pad and it went flying so I glued it back on, haven’t tried it yet we’ll see. I did get the 5 pack so I put another one on and it’s doing fine. There just what I need

The quality pad justify the price.
I was reluctant to purchase it because of the cost. Having the chance to use it polishing Stainless Steel/Aluminium, I am surprised at how well It's held up to something it was never intended to use it for. The pads are exceptionally well-made tightly packed fibers yet soft to the touch. I've always willing to pay A fair price for quality product.

The only pad you need for gel coat.
Wildly good on gel coat with 3M compound and glaze. One pass with a wool pad and rubbing compound and then a few passes with a new pad and some 3M glaze, your boat will be a mirror. No 32 step colored foam pads, just buy these.

Used to polish aluminum wheels along with aluminum polish. Worked excellent. No problems. Excellent value. Held up well.
