I needed to install a lot of electrical boxes and shelf brackets in a shop building, and I have a Bosch hammer drill that I’ve used many times in the past but infrequently, on jobs not requiring many drillings all at once. But after a few days of continuous use, my left hand became extremely painful and weak (I’m a lefty). I did an online search for hammer drills and saw this one highly recommended to prevent the kind of pain I was experiencing. After the first use I was sold. There is little impact to your hand due to the built in cushioning. And with a good set of SDS drills it is also very fast. If you have a lot of concrete or block wall drilling to do, save your hand and spend the money for this drill. It’s worth every dollar. And the bonus is the battery power as opposed to corded.
