2 Pack Universal 9/40 Double Stack Magazine Loader

I’ve been using this universal magazine loader for a couple of weeks now, and it’s been a game changer for loading double-stack 9mm and .40 S&W mags. The design is simple but effective — you just slide the loader over the mag, press down, and it helps you load rounds quickly and with less effort. It’s especially handy when loading mags with stiff springs or when you’re at the range and want to load up fast without sore thumbs. The compact size makes it easy to toss in your range bag, and it’s sturdy enough to handle regular use. That said, it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution. It works great with most double-stack mags, but I’ve found it a bit tight on some models, so you might need to wiggle it a bit to get it on. Also, if you’re used to loading mags by hand, it might take a few tries to get the hang of using the loader effectively. But once you do, it speeds up the process and makes it a lot more comfortable. Overall, for the price, it’s a solid tool that makes loading mags easier and less painful, especially if you shoot a lot or have multiple mags to fill.

This is a "universal" loader so I don't know if there's any magazine it will fit perfectly, but it fits mine "good enough". I used these loaders to load magazines for a Taurus G3C. The springs on the magazines are surprisingly stiff, making them hard to load by hand. This loader is not a "speed" loader but it makes it a lot easier to load the magazines, and saves strain on the thumbs. This is the method that works for me: Put the first round all the way in, and push it down with the loader. With the loader down, slide the next round under the magazine's feed lips. Now lift the loader, and push the round all the way back. Then push that round down with the loader, and slide the next round under the feed lips. Lift the loader, and push the round all the way back. Push that round down with the loader, and slide the next round under the feed lips. Lift the loader, and push the round all the way back. Keep repeating until the magazine is full. These are just made of some kind of plastic and who knows how long they'll last, but they work well, and you get two of them for ten dollars. At this price, I think these are great.

These work great but I am concerned with longevity. The plastic seems a bit hard to the point of will they break if not careful. For now, functioning fine and saves the fingers when loading 15, 17 and 37 count mags. A must have especially if you have arthritis or someone with weaker hands or ladies with longer fingernails. The wife is very happy and now loads her own mags with out needing me to assist!

I own a Sig P365 as my EDC and a S&W M&P 2.0 for my range and home defense pistol and this inexpensive loader does both beautifully. I loaded a mag for each pistol using this loader with ease for both style mags. A little flimsy to look at, but does the job and at this price it's a steal.

I found this loader somewhat difficult to work. The plastic is thin and I am not sure how long it will last. My main complaint is that the tooth pressing down the cartridges does not extend horizontally from the body enough. While it pushes the loaded cartridges down ok, once a new cartridge is inserted it is not held in place properly and often jumps out of the magazine. Eventually I can get all the cartridges loaded but I feel I need a better loading experience being spoiled by other excellent loaders of this type. This experience was with an S&W Shield X 10 round 9mm magazines. While I am keeping the loader despite it's shortcomings, I do not recommend it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Very handy for use when you need to load a pistol magazine and large enough to handle most calibers. Speed: The make it faster to load a magazine or magazines. Comfort: They are a great help to keeping my thumbs for hurting. Size: Large for the purpose, but this works to their advantage with some magazines.
