They're tough and large but they work great
Plugged it in, told Hue to go find it... which it did, and I added a schedule. Waited for the time and it switched on as expected. It works! There's no way to tell them apart, like a MAC ID, so for convenience you should name them with a Sharpie, where it's only visible when unplugged if you like.As I was about to recycle the packaging, I found the instructions in the bottom of the box. They're very detailed for setting up these with hubs from Amazon Echo, Samsung SmartThings, Philips Hue, eWeLink, or any other ZigBee 3.0 hub supporting Alex or Google Assistant. Yes, you need a hub. These are ZigBee devices, not WiFi. A hub is needed and not included. You may already have one, so save yourself a headache and check if you do before ordering these. These are built tough, a hard thick plastics case. It is close to 2" wide so you can't put two of these into a US standard dual outlet, but the other outlet will be free and clear for even an large plug, which leads me to point out that...It's FCC and CE marked for compliance, but not UL tested or UL listed. The relay inside is rated and designed for a maximum of a 10A resistive load (lights, light electronics). If you're going to go against the manufacturer rating by switching any motor (like a fan, or heater w/blower) you should limit those to 1/3 the rating. Do not consider switching a higher duty motor (such as fridge w/compressor, or a pump.)

didn't work for me with Google or Alexa...hub???
I read the description of this twice as it confused me. When I couldn't get this to connect I came back and reread the description again and I'm still confused.I saw that in one spot it said it required a hub, which I do not have. But then saw in two other places in the description that it had a "built-in hub" and all I had to say was “Alexa, discover my devices”....which said to me that it did not need a hub. It says it's plug and play, no app required. It did not work at all for me. I have both Alexa and Google. I plugged it in and got it blinking but saying the phrase exactly as they wrote resulted in Alexa telling me there were no new devices. I then tried through the Smart Life app and it could not find it either, even after I specified Wishiot Zigbee. I tried over and over again with both Google and Alexa and the app and none ever found or connected to these plugs.
