Best coffee maker I've ever owned
This is hand's down the best coffee maker I've ever owned. I've used all kinds of electric makers and gadgets over the years, and Gevi has simplified my coffee routine. The only complaint I have is the coffee bean hopper should be a tad bigger. It seems it was made was 9/10oz bags of coffee beans, while the standard size is 12oz. There's always a little left over from filling. With that out of the way. I usually drink 2-3 cups of coffee each morning. With the 10 cup reservoir, I can fill up the water twice a week. The machine is always set to my desired grind size, amount and brew strength, so I can stumble into the kitchen at 0'dark'30 and hit a single button to get the coffee going. When enough caffeine juice is in the pot, hit the button again to stop the brew. The coffee grounds basket is large, preventing any spillage, and extremely easy to clean. The mesh is smooth and durable, rather than snaggy and easily bent like other baskets. Cleaning daily involves emptying the basket and rinsing was warm water. About once a week I wash with dish soap.

Really like this coffee maker
So far so good. The grinder works great and coffee tastes better than coffee from my old drip coffee maker. I like that you can either use ground coffee or grind it fresh if you choose. The mechanism where you set the grind along with the strength and number of cups allows you to cater the brew to your liking. I also like that the machine does all the work by grinding the coffee and depositing it into the filter all at once. It's pretty easy to use. It's not cheap, but if you like quality coffee and a quality machine, you will probably think the machine is worth the cost.

Broke after one month :(
First, the good: This coffee machine makes absolutely delicious coffee. Some of the best coffee we've tasted! Now, the bad: It stopped working after one month of use. The grinder simply will not grind and despite our best efforts to clean it and troubleshoot, it just will not grind the coffee anymore. Also, the function buttons stopped working. We're not sure what happened, but it's like the machine completely shorted out. Really disappointed...and no real support available for this machine.

Great French Press!
This is a great set and I love the simplistic look! I got this so I wouldn't have to waste coffee filters and tea bags. It does the job so well and is the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning. All of the parts come apart, so it's SUPER easy to clean. The only part I'm not a fan of is the steel casing on mine bent a little out of shape when I first took it apart to clean. It was a super easy fix, though. Get this French press! It's a great value for the cost.

Initial Impressions All Good 5+
I've been using French Press coffee makers for several years. This may be favorite one I've tried. Only been using a week so some reserve depending on how it holds up over time but no reason to think it won't. Decanter, cradle & "innards" all seem sturdy & well made. Nice, thick double glass not overly fragile. (I've ruled out plastic ones. Tried thinking less likely to get broken but mine both stained & eventually cracked.) This Koefe one looks good (elegant), feels good, and works exactly as it should making good, clean coffee at good price/value (think it was about $22). Added value: Comes with extra replacement filters. Appropriately packaged. I don't remember exactly why chose over couple others that appear comparable (without extras) but cheaper but I'm happy with decision. Debatable if the silver spoon and clever scoop that I didn't "need" would make it worth any added cost but I love them (nice touch). It advertises as from small family business which is also added plus factor for me.

Died right after support window closed
Seemed to be pretty good. Lasted longer than our last attempt at a grind and brew maker. But literally one month after the support window closed- it is stuck in clean mode and won’t brew. :(. Now to attempt to get customer support

Glad I got this!
Since most all my appliances are Breville, and I love their quality, I was going to get Breville BDC650BSS which sells for $300 which is a steep price, but I don’t mind paying for quality. What deterred me from getting it were the negative reviews about having to clean the grinder about once a week. I wasn’t going to pay this much money for this inconvenience. This GEVI coffee maker was shown under the “featured” banner and it had good ratings and reviews, and for less than half the price of the Breville I was looking at getting. This one seemed like a good deal to take a chance on. Up until this point I had never heard of GEVI. I have had it now for two weeks and I am very satisfied with it. Fresh ground coffee is way better than the cup I get from QT on my way to work. You can turn the grinder off if you have ground coffee already. You’ll have to simply add it directly to the basket. If you are considering purchasing this, just be aware that this coffee maker is bigger than it looks in the picture. It fits under my cabinets with one inch clearance so I have to slide it forward each time I have to fill it with water. This is just a small inconvenience though.

Better options for cheaper.
Can't say I was impressed with this coffee maker. For the first 6 nonths, it worked fine. After that point, I had to descale on a regular basis. Part of this may admittedly have to do with the water situation in my apartment building, but I always put filtered water in the tank. I never made a full pot, just 4-6 cups for my morning mug. It wouldn't ever brew the entirety of the water in the tank, regardless of how much I put in. It would usually do just barely two cups worth, then end the cycle. I'd have to get up 3-4 times to have it brew again in non-grind mode before I had the amount I wanted in the first place. After a year and a half, no amount of descaling seemed to make a difference. Yes, it's possible there may have been other issues, but I decided just to be done with it, handed it off to Goodwill, and bought a better option for less money. If you're a fan of built-in burr grinder coffee makers, get the Smarter brand. It makes a cup just as good as this one and is wifi-enabled. I now have it kick on to make the exact amount when I give my Echo unit the "Good morning" command. There's also no clock on the display that you have to mess with when there's a power surge, which I like. All the settings can be manual as well if you don't do home networking or are scared of the big bad Internet. Pass this one up and let them go out of business.
