Very nice, works good for fiber laser engraving, decent thickness,good stain resistance. I suppose you could get good use as coasters, but not very scratch resistant as it is a very soft material.

A little smaller than I expected but worked out perfectly. Heavy, not too thin but very sturdy I used them for a brunch. I like how versatile they are in serving cold or hot items on them.

Although one of the boxes had 3 broken pieces, these are the only slate boards I will purchase. They laser engrave very easy and are very beautiful pieces. CONS - they are thin... I received a box of 6 and 3 pieces were broken. Would definitely recommend them however.

These slate boards are such great quality for the cost of the bundle. The thickness is perfect, and the functionality, for my crafts are amazing.! I use these for craft projects for my business as they could be used for a serving platter as well, and are easy to work with as they are scratch resistant!
