how tall are these filters?

11x1.8x1.8 are what the product information gives. They fit my ac30 system exactly. Great system of filters and great price compared to Culligan.

One of my filters came with a black marking around it. Was this a mistake and is it safe to use?

I imagine it's the carbon filter. Its normal for some of the carbon to shake out a little during handling. Perfectly safe.

Will this fit the H-83 series?

Not sure, I bought it and now my filtering system doesn't work as well

Are these filters compatible with the culligan good water machine system?

I am not familiar with the Culligan "good water machine" system. However, it is a perfect fit for the Culligan system we have. I just used the model number from our system to find the filters.
