Bought an electric fan kit from eBay specific for a vehicle (Silverado). Replaced the clutch fan with two 16inch electric (no name) brands that came with the kit. Truck ran a little hotter than with the clutch fan so decided to switch one fan out with the above Flex-a-lite to see if there was a temperature difference. Right away just with a hand behind the fans with them on I could tell the Flex-a-lite moved more air than the no name fan. My only complaint, but not really a complaint, was the Flex-a-lite is considerably louder than the no name fan. That in reality isn't a bad thing, because now I know the fans are working. I have bought the no name brand fans before. I should have bought a flex a lite fan from the start. Fan works great. If you are using a togel switch like me make shure its at leats 20amps or higher. Very pleased with my fan plenty of air flow for my 3 core radiator on my 1971 f250. 👍👍 . note a 20amp togel switch is not enough current rating. I installed a 30amp togel switch works much better. Switch dose not over heat like a 20amp swith dose. Update on the fan performance. Works good in 100 plus degree weather.
