Got this as a gift for my husband. He is a huge Star Wars fan, mostly of the original trilogy but he also grew up reading novels in the expanded universe (and is still upset they aren't cannon, especially the Thrawn trilogy). Definitely a great buy for adult fans of the franchise.

I loved the concept for this book, and it was very well done. I was pleased that equal time and info was put into the in-between years, and it wasn't all about 1977, '80, '83...etc. Good balance between news events, pop culture and the development of the films.

I bought 2 of these books as a Birthday gift. one for each of my sons, they both loved this book. They are both Star War fans
